Was coming down the mountain, hit a frozen ice rut on the front left. Heard what sounded like tire hitting the wheel well. This was in medium ride height. Then all hell broke lose. Accelerator took a lot of pressing to go. Steering felt like piloting a sailboat. No regen breaking... had to over break all the way down the mountain.

Parked it, exited, got back in, warnings persisted. Had to do a soft reset to clear it it.

Waiting at school dropff, hopefully ok going back up.

Not a good experience.

Those are symptoms of a few things, sometimes ABS module issue, sometimes HCU module, some were other connection issues.
This can start out intermittent, cleared by exiting truck. After some time, it may not clear.
A few, like me, have seen these errors and needed a service appointment.
Wouldn't hurt to start one in the app so they can maybe see the data log.

I had a similar series of errors thrown, also in cold weather

what happened, was I pulled into a parking spot that had a small burm of snow at the end of it.
I rolled up the bump of snow slightly and rather than roll back and put in park, I just popped my seat belt off, which causes it to put in park, however I don’t do this anymore because of the weird errors and driving condictions I came back to.

similar experience with weird feeling steering, no regen on brakes. Had same errors come up in notifications, and it went away after a reset as well. Driving conditions were all normal again after reset.

I didn’t really have anything other than an anecdote so I didn’t report to service. Lots of time left of the warranty so I let it go and won’t be trying to recreate those conditions.

Others have observed that when the truck goes into panic mode, it shuts down systems to protect itself.

So it's possible it was just a sensor out of bounds and until you reset it, it was worried it had been in an accident and wanted to not damage itself more.

But yeah, get it looked at; definitely a warranty issue. They need to make recovery more clear to the user.

Good thing you got a picture of this because I’ve had this happen twice and the error codes are considered soft codes if they go away after a reset or self resolve. If you do a soft reset, they go away, so does the log.

Tesla SC surprisingly cannot see them. Been through this 2x and the 2nd time I received those messages I coincidentally got a flat tire. As a result. I had to take it in for service and immediately before the vehicle was even there Tesla added a HV ancillary harness replacement (Engineering study) onto the service ticket.

Turns out after further research this harness connects all of those modules that were throwing the error message.

They’re replacing it tomorrow. I suspect this will resolve that issue. It could be that when you hit that bump it shook that harness loose or exposed a loose connection. This requires them to remove the truck bed panel in the vault and the air suspension compressed air container. Underneath that is the harness and the SC ticket says it will be done same day.

I’m curious to see if you end up getting this notice next time you take it in for service. Tesla does a good job monitoring the vehicle remotely and can detect/diagnose things. However, again, I bet the error codes that you received were not stored surprisingly. Ironic for sure.

Why would it be warranty if it was caused by road conditions?

Why would it be warranty if it was caused by road conditions?
It depends.

The situation as described is a series of non-user actionable errors which disabled the vehicle - not road damage.

A vehicle shouldn't just disable itself without a procedure to safely, and like other vehicles, bring it back to normal.

It's the lack of procedure that makes it a warranty issue, not that it threw safety errors. A user would have no way to know if these errors are or aren't without Tesla; which is Tesla's fault.

Exactly. The entitlement is over the top. You break your car, you fix it.
These errors don't say how to fix it. They're written for only Tesla to understand what they mean.

Tesla should either provide an inspection regime or inspect it for you since they're the ones which made it spit errors that are not Human-readable.

You might've found your answer, I didnt read all the comments. But this happened to me in my chevy silverado. It could be a tire pressure sensor. Many reasons, gunk/dirty, out of alignment whatever. Truck would run fine, hit a bump on one specific tire and all sensors go crazy because it cant read the tire anymore and the truck went into limp mode. Replaced a simple sensor and boom all fixed.
Get it to service and checked out from the pro's.

Update on this I took this in for service and on my way in. They said that if it’s listed as engineering study, they don’t want to do it unless they have to get in that area so it surprise me, but that’s the protocol that I was told.

Update on this: I took the truck in for service today, and they informed me that there’s no need to replace the HV Harness since it’s an Engineering Study. They mentioned that they’ll do it next time they need to access the penthouse (which SC referred to as the truck bed square cover between the D Rings). I haven’t encountered the multiple error messages mentioned more than twice, and it’s been about three weeks since the last one. Anyway, I’m just giving an update on this previous comment of mine for now. Everything seems to be in order for now.....
