Adjustable bump stop fell out - Frunk Lid

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out how to install an adjustable bump stop in the frunk lid. It fell out when I went to see if it would adjust, and the other side also feels like it's about to fall out.

They're supposed to be dangly. Insert, twist, and they just hang there. Did the rubber latches get damaged?

It seems to be really loose and really hang there. I tried others and they appear to feel solid.. but the frunk lid is different. One is wiggly, but in there.. this one won't get back to the wiggly stage. It almost feels like it's missing something on the backside of it. I'm not sure what it's supposed to look like on the back side; from what I've read it seems to be push and twist to get it in, but that doesn't seem to work.
