I was asked by someone probably in his 30’s “is that a real Cybertruck”? Maybe he saw too many replica/knockoffs online.

I’ve had several jaw dropping reactions and just genuine excitement from others who have asked if they can take a closer look or even sit in it.

Oh totally I’ve let out of the 13 people that have interacted with me. I’ll bet you I’ve let at least four sit in it. One lady from Poland I mean, I thought I was gonna have to start from Elon‘s birth. she wanted to know everything! we were in front of 7-Eleven for goddamn 20 minutes???

That is the best question. After they ask me what is it and I tell them it's a Tesla Cybertruck truck, THEN they ask, "Did you build it yourself?"... Ok I give up, I built it myself, in my spaceship.

Kids LOVE it. That’s for sure. I’m never unsure about whether an eight-year-old digs the CYBERTRUCK . Also, has anyone noticed that it’s only white people that have a problem with the CYBERTRUCK ? ????‍?‍?‍

I guess the other issue is I threw out the sticker. All there is now is a video of a guy slapping my truck, when he put the sticker on. I took this picture of the sticker and then got rid of it immediately. There was one guy I know who saw the sticker, and an unknown passerby that commented how awful it was, who I'd never be able to find.

If it happens again, maybe I will go further with the report. But because I wanted the sticker off my truck immediately, I assume I also destroyed the most important piece of evidence. My guess is this guy ordered a bunch of these and is sticking them on Teslas all over town. Or maybe just CTs, but I can't imagine he had just one sticker.

EDIT: I also like how the guy who did it was driving a VW Golf. If you want to jump through hoops and associate a vehicle with an ideology, that's probably the most hypocritical vehicle to do it in.

Just wondering how many times people are getting flipped off or shouted at a day. I do my best to ignore it but I get enough that it’s frustrating.worried about what my experience will be like when I leave my truck in public spaces… or if I’ll get shit when I’m out with my kids luckily they don’t see it or haven’t yet.

0 for me since early last year and those were pickup trucks mad at the Cybertruck for being too cool. But I drive in an area mostly with expensive cars and lots of Teslas so maybe it's just because of that. It's not uncommon to see multiple Cybertrucks, Hummer EVs, tons of Model Y and Model 3 each day.

I got out of my truck to walk into Lowe’s and a guy who saw me get out asked “Is that your Tesla?” I said “The truck. Yes”… he said “Fascist” and walked away. I said “Thanks.”

I was a little worried he would do something to my truck, but not because of the truck, but because my family was in the truck.

If someone walked up just to say that to me, I’d reply just as quickly by saying “huh? Yea it is fast!”

Let's be honest - most who want a cyber truck is for the attention and tech. I'll be 50 this year. If I can trigger a few each day, that's cool. I mean, i drive my son to school and back home. Besides driving him to my appointments or his school. i don't use my model y for much else. Besides Costco., I do miss the little extra room from my f250 I traded for the Model Y. But, with a cybertruck at least i can get some of that back. We roadtripped from Florida to vermont in the f250, even with that and the backseat and our stuff in the bed, it was tight. i realize the CT is just a daily commuter anyway - i mean can we really justify why you'd get this for 75k when you could get a huge gas truck for the same price that can tow a 5th wheeler?

Yesterday I was at a brewery and was able to find parking right up front. A girl around my age came out to take some pictures of her with the car which I was stoked about. She loved it. I approached her to see if she wanted to see the inside. As I was showing her the inside, someone shouted "whoever is in the swasticar needs to leave now".. My response? "Have you heard Elon talk about the Isreali hostages?" "i"m an ally" ( they looked LGBTQ). I'm not trying to get this flagged for politics but this was my response.. EVERY single bad encounter I have had, I've tried to have an actual conversation with the person, they just choose to shout or make odd gestures. Strange world we live in. Overall, the girl was happy to sit in the CT and take pictures. I reject your reality and substitute it with my own...
