Looks like it didn't do much from what I see. Now that winter is almost over, I'm hoping by next winter Tesla will just program spraying on the way down. Till then, spraying RainX is my friend along with going fast. :D

If you hold the washer fluid button down for a couple of cycles it releases a lot more fluid.

One thing it DID add for me, at least - I can stand in front of my truck and the Frunk opens without my input.

My wife is miffed her 2023 Model Y doesn't do this yet.

It does for the trunk on the Model Y, but not the frunk and it won't because it has to be manually closed.

Ours closes itself. But, will that also work on the 2023 version of the Model Y? (I installed a frunk opener but haven't installed the Hatch opener. I was wondering if the 2023 MY had the right sensor to enable the rear to open when standing behind it.

2023 MY has the ability to open trunk hands free, but not the frunk, even with a kit. There's no camera up there and it's not designed from Tesla to auto-close.

Maybe my wife has something set up wrong or maybe it wouldn't do it in the garage. I'll have to give it a look when I get home.

Hannsshow makes a kit that will open/close the Frunk electrically. It's easy to install. Also, the hatch kit comes with a kick sensor to make it hands free completely.

I installed the Frunk part because my wife felt like she was denting the hood. Result? She doesn't use the Frunk... Even AFTER I installed the opener...

But, the rear, I haven't installed because unlike the opener for the 2020 MY, this one requires you to connect to the battery up front. It seemed like it might be a hassle... So, I procrastinated... and continue to do so.

BUT, if she gets access via the phone, all bets are off!

Her phone has to have UWB for it to work

It does. I'm connected to her car as well with my phone. My phone opens my CY but not the MY. Also, I couldn't find any obvious setting that was different.
