Open letter to Tesla

who got the $2500 credit, please allow us to use the $2500 credit for supercharging for as long as the funds Last.

I would like a gesture from Tesla to allow the use of the credits for after the cutoff date. There is simply not enough I need or want to spend it on in the five months still left (for me).

But this has nothing to do with protests, or being ambassadors, so maybe doesn’t belong in this thread?

Nope. While I would like some friendly gesture, like motorcyclist do when they pass each other, I would not want a gesture that is so related to the unwanted attention we are getting. Feels to me more like stirring the pot than cameraderie. YMMV.

The outright violence and aggression is a mental issue. Its just sad it is so prevalent.
There have been good examples of how to disagree with a company recently and those caused change. Both Bud Light and Target lost hundreds of millions to billions of dollars because of boycotts. No protests, no violence, just boycotts. I've seen this violence cause many posts on social media that come out supporting Tesla and new purchases, causing the opposite effect. Sell the stock, sell the car, don't buy again! There you go!
This isn't a political statement but a fact of data.


On todays event note. They were staring at me far harder than I was staring at them for their ride. I would say it was curiosity not positive or negative.

You have a good point. I’m not sure on the laws now but I’m not going to take this any further since it obviously did not damage any property and yes, I cannot technically prove it was intentional.

This guy is a well known loser in the neighborhood so I don’t think it’s just the Cybertruck. He roller blades in the middle of a 2 land road and flips people off when they try going around him and he refuses to move. I do love the windshield sprayer idea. I’ll post updates if the opportunity presents

By the way, I had always thought up until now that the "TeslaTakedown" thing was an organic reaction from people dissatisfied with what's up in Washington. And that's probably what many of the "useful pawns" at the dealerships are. But this group was coordinated by Edward Niedermeyer. He is a prominent member of TSLAQ, (an infamous shortseller and FUD collective), and has had an obsessive hatred for Elon Musk for over a decade. He is taking advantage of the 50/50 political split in our country to rile people up and do his bidding against Elon Musk under the auspices of political dissatisfaction.
So, while some of the foot soldiers may have an intent to push for political change, the very movement itself is a vanity and revenge project for a butthurt longtime Tesla hater. I was at the same time surprised and unsurprised when I realized this.

I've been getting an average of 1 middle finger every 10 miles from oncoming traffic on a major two lane highway in a rural area.

Many of the "gesturers" have been driving Subaru Outbacks.

I just smile and wave, and hope it cheers them up a little.

Well, today in my area I was flipped off twice, had a guy pantomime shooting me, and had some teenage girls think they were super funny for loudly exclaiming how ugly cybertrucks are before climbing into a '91 Mercedes station wagon.

So about average.
