Do you use a sectioned bed divider?

Ran into this product while browsing on. Amazon and wondering if any of you have experience with it. If so, what are your thoughts? Useful? Pro/cons? Anything you wish you knew before you bought it?

That one looks horribly flimsy. Tesla’s current one works. The Gen1 had some problems but Gen2 is solid.

I’ve had both. Their current Bed Cargo Divider works in every position and is rock solid.

I love my solid bed divider. It’s one of my most used accessories. I’m just wondering if there are applications where this might be useful.
Say for example you want to keep using your divider but also have something very long to put in the vault.

I suppose that’s a purpose for it. But I’d still rather remove the divider for large loads than have 75% of it made of netting.

I think this kind of bed divider would be more stable. You can adjust the bed liner . Better than the OEM one.

Yes. I have a very similar divider from another vendor and really like it. The adjustable legs are way better than the Tesla divider.

At that price point, I'd rather have the Tesla one or an aftermarket solid one. The only way I could see this being more useful is if you mounted both points on the same rail side and used to sort of strap something to the sidewall or for an irregular shaped object.

How is the weight rating on the Tylard one? Some kind of bed divider that can hold heavy toolboxes etc for people in the trades is needed but not sure about durability.

I don’t exactly know the weight rating but the Tesla and aftermarket one are comparable.

I have this sectioned divider. It works really well for my use case with it. In my case, I'm not using it to contain heavy loads. I use for when I go my cabin carrying a few big bottles of water, cooler, and other odds and ends. It is never enough to fill the bed, so I section off the area behind the trunk and keep all the stuff up near the cab. It stops things from sliding on rough roads, while being very easy to open and load/unload (much, much easier than the solid ones). Secondarily, with where I have it, it handles a grocery/costco trip better than without a divider (no different than a solid divider there).

I would not trust it with a lot of weight flying around or to tie anything of real weight to the side panels. The setup is stronger than it looks, but I still wouldn't trust it. It is simply a light duty divider that trades strength for ease of access. Knowing and accounting for that, my only real complaint is you need to unscrew the sides if you want to remove it. The opening is about 36" so it really only applies in my case when I'm loading full sheets of plywood or appliances. I haven't had it long enough to really see how much of a pain that will be, but as I think of how I have used my other trucks... less than a handful of times a year I need that capability.

Thanks. Thats exactly the type of info I was looking for. I was thinking in my use case I’d use it right in front of the folded cybertent so I can still reach under it without having to remove the tent or divider.

This divider would probably be a good option there. As long as you're not hauling a heavy generator and not tying it down... the 'weakness' shouldn't be an issue.

Could you please elaborate a little on how
It attaches to the l-track? Maybe a photo? I take It from what you said its just a screw and bowtie washer like many other accessories rather than a quick release mechanism like the rigid dividers.
