Love it. Any issues with the factory or aftermarket stick on windshield light bar?

Just sharing a look at our rack paired with the OEM light bar. Since our first prototype last July, we’ve added a wind deflector to help reduce wind noise - and yep, it’s included for free!

I was fortunate enough to purchase a @Urander bed rack during their black Friday sales event. After placing the order, I then realized that I would also need to have my back ordered OEM light bar also installed (before I could actually install the rack). Otherwise, I would then need to partially disassemble the rack to allow for the power connection on the light bar to the truck.

I reached out to my local Tesla service center via my app, explained the issue I created. They were very understanding and were actually able to order in the light bar right away for me. The timing worked out great, the rack arrived 2 days before my service appointment. Just a day after my SC appointment, I installed the rack.

Here is the result. I can confirm the Urander bed rack is completely compatible to an installed OEM light bar, and I think that they actually look really great together. Moral of the story, if you still have a back ordered OEM light bar, order a Urander bed rack! (Just kidding...kinda...and no, I am not sponsored by anyone).

Very cool. Thanks for the pic. I’ve looked at the urander setup many times and have a good friend who has one on his truck. Beautiful stuff. I’m one of those strange people who really likes the cybertent however so something that covers the bed was never an option for me.

That’s just as close as I thought between the rack and lightbar. I’m guessing Mars AG must have thought through this too when they designed the deflector.

Yes, you can of course pair Tesla’s light bar with our system :)

I'll be posting an updated photo of the MARS wind deflector paired with the MARS 50" lightbar for any interested . I've personally installed every mod on my Cybertruck with zero experience—from the rack to the rooftop tent—everything except the wrap and stealth PPF with ceramic coating. That’s where I draw the line lol.

Folks who have the Mars wind deflector installed, was it worth it? Does it noticably reduce wind noise in your experience?

Absolutely 100% worth it! We had some noise reverberation at highway speeds as the rubber edge didn’t make contact with the windshield. We added some simple plastic shims and now it’s perfect! No noticeable noise difference with the racks after having the aero-blade attached.

Thank you! Good to know.

So those 3 plastic clips sorta keep the rubber from flapping around? What do they clip to (meaning, how do the stay on?)

They’re just plastic floor leveling shims. When we first put the rack on, we had a 250mi drive so I just tied a pair of board shorts around the aeroblade and the front bar in order to fill the gap between the windshield and it worked perfectly! Haha

We just needed to put 2 of the shims on top of each other and then just slid them into place, center of the windshield and aeroblade. Added another on the right and left side just because. Haven’t had a single issue since and the shims have held for over 700mi. They’re a rubbery plastic and the way they wedge into the gap, they sort of grab the windshield and are held into place. Hope this helps!

I'm just looking for a roof rack to store things like inflatable paddleboards and miscellaneous camping off-roading stuff. Is this a good fit for me?

Also, it seems like it does from the pictures but it shouldn't affect the Tesla Cybertent right?
