Anyone else have this issue? Way past the return cycle unfortunately. Following the instructions I was careful not to over-inflate - unless the gauge on the pump is way off. SC said they have had others who experienced the same thing. The tubes are replaceable but since they are supplied by a 3rd party company they have no control over the time it will take to obtain the part which they said they expect to be "a long wait" - ugh.
Thoughts?

I've used mine around 15 times or so without issues; however, I could definitely see something getting snagged or pinched or even just a bad tube maybe causing something like that. I still get a little nervous pumping up the tent but I also walk around and check to make sure everything aligns just right every few pounds of pressure. I hope it doesn't take long to get your replacement and I hope that solves the issue for you. The tent is super nice and convenient once you get the hang of setup and tear down.

That’s rough, did you have the relief valve connected in line with the pump? Where was the failure? Thought there were some repair items that came with the tent like one of the small connector tubes in there. If it’s one of the main tubes, maybe try an inflatable type patch kit.

There's a plastic tube (seems like really thin plastic) wrapped in a nylon housing. The plastic burst and really shredded and tore a 7 inch rip in the nylon housing. Not sure I have the skills to patch and sew well enough to prevent another burst - at what could be a bad time in the middle of the night in the forrest. Might be an adventure for me but likely scare the shit out of my wife and little girl.
I didnt notice the inclusion of a relief valve that could be connected in line with the pump. Could you please elaborate?

That sounds extensive, but I am curious what sort of repair kits to have on hand in case something happens on a trip. 8 psi is pretty low pressure so a temp repair should be pretty easy.

The relief valve looks like a T-connector that connects inline between the pump and hose. The branch part of the T is a vent that relieves pressure above (I assume) about 8psi. I’ll take a picture tomorrow.

I'd appreciate that - thank you.

Thanks for sharing this - yes I did have that piece connected. I think it’s a valve that allows the pump to fill the tent with air on both the up and down stroke and not act as a pressure relief valve above 8psi. It didn’t relieve pressure for me when I was filling it.
What’s that black tube you reference in the picture?

I think the two way pump feature is self contained in the pump, but now I’m curious on the purpose. I’ve never seen otherwise in other paddle board/ inflatables type pumps.

The tube shown is a drop in replacement of any of the connections between each of the main tent sections. The bulge in the middle is actually a clamp which I think all of the installed tubes have as well - meaning you could isolate any section of the tent if there was a leak. Kind of an odd feature, but might make the tent temporarily usable with a leak in one of the sections if you block that section off.

That’s very interesting. I didn’t get that part in my kit. I bought one of the first ones almost a year ago. Is yours a newer one? Wonder if that was added later. Definitely a good piece of the kit to have. Thanks again for your time on this.

Ordered it late May last year, but I think it didn’t show up until July.

Hopefully yours is a warranty fix, but if not reaching out to heimplanet directly might help. They sell replacement bladders for their other tents for about $33. They advertise the cybertent but don’t sell it directly, so not sure if they’ll provide replacement parts.

On my pump, there is a lever opposite the pressure gauge that selects between single and double stroke operation.

I’ll reach out today and advise results on this board in case anyone else has this issue. You’ve been super helpful. Thank you again.
