On X, Electric Cyberfarmer is the first I’ve seen get FSD early access outside of Texas. (He’s in Maryland- and may be here as well)

Social media influencers get prioritized.

Here are a few more to note:
  • Chuck Cook - Florida
  • Dirty Tesla - Michigan
  • AI DRIVR - California

But these guys were already in early access. This is a chicken/egg thing. These guys did it the old-fashioned way (like me) back when you had to get 100% driving score in order to get in the initial beta. They took that and turned it into YouTube prominence.

I drove 3 hours the night before everyone thought it was going to release just to get to 100. It was delayed a week, but I hated when my wife would drive that week.

I hope to never need to do that again.

“Hard breaking” and whatever they called high torque turns were about the death of me. And bogus early collision warnings like people are still having with driving score in the insurance program just about made me lose my mind.

As a result I had to do a lot of extra driving to clear false positives and my wife ended up getting 100 in her Y about a week before me in my 3. We were insanely competitive about it!

But we were both outside of the very first group to achieve 100 which guys like DirtyTesla became members of. Getting to keep their video report button forever and parlaying that into YouTube fame.

Someone in Louisiana on Facebook also said they received it. Not an influencer AFAIK.

My days of driving for hours on end to get my Beta score up were fraught with rural road issues. The car HATED the sudden rises and falls on the old horse cart trails that had been long since paved and made into main roads. I’d get dinged just for driving down a straight road simply because it had so many drastic elevation changes, regardless of how carefully or slowly I took them.

Oh…. And don’t get me started on the fwd collision warnings…. My god that was horrid.

Do not miss those days lol

So I was in Texas last week and got the notification to join after entering Dallas. But since I live in Nebraska, I wonder if it will let me use it - I have no idea what "use" means or when it is available.

Man, I hope California people start getting it more. I can confirm that changing my address in the app to TX did nothing lol

I had no idea this was so involved! Ya’ll go on then. Pave the way so I can eventually enjoy complete FSD in peace. I just want the CT to get more love from Tesla. Period.

The low sales, more expensive models like the MS,X,CT will always be behind the MY and the M3. Tesla gets more data, sales, etc. from them.
