Ceiling Lift Solutions for Bed Racks and Rooftop Tents

Just wanted to share some ceiling lifter options for storing your bed rack and rooftop tent when you’re not using them.

One of Cybertruck Owner is using the SmarterHome Universal XL HD Lifter - it handles his Intrepid RTT (155 lbs) really well.

Since our bed rack is easy to remove and reinstall with just eight 10mm bolts (and we’re working on a stud conversion that will make it even easier to line up and reinstall the rack), another Cybertruck owner is using the Auxx Lift for his iKamper 3.0 and our Bed Rack together.

One cool thing about the Auxx Lift is that it offers 32 square feet of additional storage space on top of the platform, while the rooftop tent and bed rack sit underneath. It’s built to handle up to 600 lbs, making it a really efficient way to maximize garage space.

Yeah, our rack’s around 9.5 ft long, so the 4x8 seems about right to me.

Here’s a pic of the Gen 2 cap on the ceiling. Unfortunately, the Cybertruck owner is experiencing a PCS failure and had to remove the cap to get it fixed, but luckily it’s covered under warranty. Our truck is almost at 50k miles and after that, the cost will be $6 to $7k

This is the garage lifter I used.

I've used engine hoist along with the lift since I had other stuffs installed on my rack and total weight was almost 200lbs.
