I have two CyberBeasts currently and use both daily.

One is a 2024 CB with vin in the 49k range. The other is a 2024 FS CB with the vin in the 39k range. I have a fairly unique situation where I can see if oddities are just in one CT or in both. I wanted to share a couple I notice.....

Air suspension: Recently I have noticed in both, at any given random intersection stop I will feel the air suspension do something. A quick 'bump' if you will. Neither have done this until recently so curious if anyone might have further info.

Ride quality: I have of course had them both in for service. (always a pleasant experience) - I was given a non-beast loaner on one of the visits.
I live in a rural area on a roughly paved road and the AWD loaner was much smoother. No hard knock sounds on ruts and so forth which are normal in both my beasts (and in my 2022 GMC 2500HD for what its worth)

And a couple questions for you guys on things that bug me due to my lack on knowledge or a missing feature......

First and foremost - FSD, my address is shown in a location on GPS that is maybe 1/2 mile or less away (think rural)
- when FSD gets to what is marked on a map as my address it stops - is there no way to teach it a custom route and then have it repeat in the future kinda like a waypoint but with self mapping for non-marked streets?

Secondly - messages - I am an iPhone user and most of the time in both trucks I get a text, tap the blue reply and talk and then tap blue reply again and voila, its sent. But there are days that it will text to speech my reply and I hit the blue again for send and bang, a red X and message not sent. Any input on whats happening here (even if its just me)

Finally, in one of my trucks I need a laptop and using one on the center console was absurb. I can report that the universal RAM kit works nice. Expensive but I tried a number of the others on Amazon first and this is the one that I kept.

Thanks All, looking forward to the experience of others.

So can you tell me about laptop holder?
Sorry I should have put a link - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B013FJEKHG
I just mounted the legs on the passenger seat front bolts. (T40 bolt if I recall)
Its NOT a perfect setup and will wiggle, however when supercharging its as good as a desk to me and the armrest works awesome as my mousepad.....

I feel I've heard or read about that bump stop. Kyle from Out of Spec on Youtube has frequently mentioned how he likes the way the Dual Motor drives better than the Beast. I don't own one obviously, but if I had to guess the beast has a stiffer suspension to manage the added power, and maybe some other effects from that front wheel power bias.

This is a new phenomenon for all of us it seems, AWD included. Seems like a bang can be heard on multiple occasions now during a drive, very strange.. Hopefully a patch comes out soon..

I have not had any of the issues you speak of (vin 27xxxx); however,I did buy an extra set of ATs and Cyber wheels. I had some vibration at 80mph on the ones which came with the truck. The second set I had balanced and the road riding experience was better. I have always kept my ride height on low amd have not experienced the thump that several owners refer to.

I have the same thing on my beast. Outlined by Kyle @ OOS. It's "normal" for beasts according to the service center. Under any acceleration, in any drive mode/height, the front suspension is locked and makes all bumps feel like crashes. All have it. Any that say they don't just live with it.

The original author reported 2 driving issues. The first was a random bump at dead stops as if the air suspension was doing something, the other was bumps over ruts.

The 1st one I don't have, the only thing you get sometimes is the air suspension venting itself or making a minor adjustment to ride height but that's normal for all Cybertrucks. What he described sounded like something different to me and something I don't have.

The 2nd issue I have sometimes. I say sometimes because there are 2 ruts where pavement comes together at a seam on a route I commonly drive. Sometimes when going over those runs I feel like the suspension slams and there is a hard rebound, other times that doesn't happen and the impact from driving over the ruts is maybe 40-50% less noticeable. I have not experimented to see if I can recreate the exact conditions for either. My guess is that the suspension may be set differently at different speeds automatically by the air suspension and at some setting you get more impact feel and at other settings you don't. It certainly isn't every time I drive over the same ruts so something must be changing.

HTH

PS. At no point is it unbearably bad or anything like that. I will also try driving an AWD over the same ruts and see how it responds.

If you put a pin in your actual home location, and save to Favorites, wouldn’t that be a reasonable workaround?

I hear/feel a 'pop' and assume it's the compressor tank

I had the same problem with regard to the map gap between the street address and my physical house. I was able to add my driveway to google maps and move the pin for my home location to my building instead of just the street address.

Yeah, no. I'm going to disagree with you on that.

No such issue exists on my beast. Unless I've never accelerated over a bump, which is unlikely where I live. I heard Kyle's bump in one of his videos (sounded like shaking a can of spark plugs), and I've never heard anything remotely like that.

I mean, it could be so subtle that it doesn't bother me, but then it's not really an issue anyway. I've also never heard anyone I've driven anywhere in my beast mention it.
