I don't seem to have power via the rear USB-C ports on my CyberTruck. I can charge my phone/ipad on the USB-C port in the front console, but the rear ports do nothing. I've tried it with the car in drive & park.

Is this normal, or is there something I need to do to enable power to these ports?

It's odd at first that you have to enable them on the CT when you don't on any other vehicle, but I guess it makes sense considering you can charge your house and other things.

Did you enable from the actual command screen?
The command screen only enables the Power outlets (110v ports). It does not refer to or affect the USB-C ports. I have also tested and can confirm that my rear USB-C ports are not impacted by the outlets on/off.

Additionally the USB-C port in the front center console (between the front seats) does provide power. The rear ports are not providing power. Power from the rear USB-C ports is important for rear passengers with phones and devices.

Can anyone confirm if they get USB-C power in the rear?

Both my rear ports work. Didn't change anything.

Just make sure that you don't have anything plug into any of the USB ports for a bit. If the vehicle doesn't like what's plugged in, it can disable the ports. They should reset automatically.

Mine work - have a Screen-mounted MagBak charger plugged into one of them
I also got a nice PD-100 brick to leave in the center console to use the 110 outlet for laptops, etc.

Does anyone have any update on this. It seems like I have to plug in our baby camera, powered via usb c twice to get it to power the camera and screen. This is not the case in our Model X, as I run the exact same setup in both car and truck with the exact same equipment via the rear USB C ports. I’ve tried all the ports in the truck and the behavior is the same across all ports. Additionally, when I try to charge my iPhone via these ports I get a sporadic on and off charging indicator on the phone screen till I plug it in twice. It seems to be a software bug with the ports for sure.

My rear-seat USB-C ports don’t provide any power unless I manually turn on the 120V power outlets via main touchscreen. It seems as though the inverter needs to run and then there’s a 120V-to-USB adapter that runs internally (only explanation I can come up with).
Bro... the name, the profile pic..

PLEASE, don't ever change. If anyone says anything else, Blame it on the rain.

Please disregard my post (above). It was all a miscommunication...

We were on a trip and my kids said their phones weren't charging so my wife went into the menu and tried turning on the outlets, which made their phones charge.

I later asked the kids about it, and I found out they were using a USB power adapter plugged into the 120V AC outlet. They didn't see the USB-C ports on either side of the outlet [which do work w/o needing to turn outlets on, as you would expect], so they brought their own charger.
