Thank you. Awesome video. Answered all my questions. Mine just got here too. Very pumped. I have a bit of a different plan for powering it. I have a power station in the frunk that runs on the frunk dc feed which doesn’t turn off. I have fed an extension cord from it inside the cabin to plug the fridge into. I also ran a 12v dc cable along with it for other needs.
more on that once it’s all installed and wires have been tucked away nicely.
DC fridges which this is just with an attached and nicely designed charger brick, are much better at maintaining temps than getting to them. I don’t want mine turning off every time I plug the car in.

I've got my eye on one of these, because (a) I swim laps for exercise, and it's nice to have a cold protein shake afterwards; and (b) sometimes my dog rides along, and the fridge would block her favorite path to the accelerator pedal, which is safer.

Don't think I'd run it all the time, but sometimes? Definitely. Just kinda waiting to see if the reviews are good and if I think it's worth the price.

I like mine, I did opt to turn up the temperature to above freezing since it could easily freeze the sodas and make a mess. It will go from warm garage temperature to freezing in less than 30-40 minutes. Tes Studio has them and you can get 25% off if you use my code CyberVeteran. Of note there isn't an active fan in the interior (that I can see/hear), but everything seems to get cold fast, though if stuffed full may take a bit longer to reach set temperature. It runs wisper quiet even on Max mode.

Are you able to tell where the heat of this thing is being dumped?

To be honest I didn't even think of it. There doesn't seem to be heat radiating out of the unit. If there was it's not noticeable. I don't feel it near the legs or anywhere.

It’s gotta be going somewhere. There’s got to be a fan drawing the air out right?My guess is the void where the power module sits is getting pretty hot…

Generally curious on the use case of this. I've never really though I needed a fridge in the car. Back in the day, our Honda Odyssey had a fridge-like feature that ran off the AC that we stored formula in when our kids were little. Beyond that I never missed having that feature. Do people use this for monster road trips in the summer and camping? For typical use, I'm just icewater in a yeti.

I don't think this is for me, but I would love to use that space for something that fits my needs more. Had the truck just over a month, so I haven't really looked into options yet. Any recommendations?

I had been using the Center Floor Organizer and Trash Bin. We’ve really liked it. The cup holders are more generous than the Tesla OEM ones, it allows for a tissue box and has a trash container with a lid.

I’ll sell my gently-used ones (front and back seat). The backseat one has double-sided tape that I never unpeeled and could still be stuck on to anyone’s under-screen area.

Make me an offer and cover shipping or pickup from Scottsdale, AZ! I’m happy to let it go to give usefulness to some other CT owner.

Just got my @Cybergear fridge and installed it within 10 min. Easy install for 1 person. Manual says to let it sit for 4 hours before operating. Will chime back in once I get some use out of it. But if it works as intended, it'll be a great addition with summer coming around.

Is easy to install, I really enjoy it the first day, but I notice that my battery is going down fast. I even change to eco mode but is not cooling like max mode. Any advice?

Ok so one area of slight annoyance is that the outlets have to be reactivated once the timer ends. Otherwise the fridge, or anything plugged into the power socket, will power down. I think the timer turns off after 12 hrs which is probably enough time for most. But just now I went to go check on the fridge and noticed that it was off. Last evening after unplugging the CT from its overnight charge, I started the timer to activate the power socket at about 11:40pm. I left the car in the parking lot at work, forgetting about the timer, and had now just went out to check for something in the car. And this was when I noticed that the power socket was off. Again not a big deal, you just need to open the app and reactivate it, but the fridge did power down and went back to 61 degree. So will have to rechill the contents again. Not a big deal, just a small annoyance.

I haven't played with mine too much. But I left it on overnight and it ran from 11:40pm to 8am @ 32 degrees. Went from 253 miles down to 239. So lost "14" miles worth of power.

I have the CyberGearCo's Center Floor organizer and trash bin and it fits the space perfectly. There are a few areas for improvement (mainly around sound insulation: when you put things under the bin and they hit the "walls" of the organizer, it is loud enough to hear), but the amount of extra storage space is fantastic (the bonus is the 2 additional cup holders). FWIW, I used to put a small soft-sided cooler from Walmart (Ozark Trail, which is no longer sold unfortunately it has great insulation) in that space and it also fit perfectly. It just seems really inefficient to me to put a powered fridge in a vehicle: how much energy are you using just to keep it cool (even when you aren't actively using it)? I spend a lot of time on the tree farm and I pull my cooler when I get there, so I guess I'll be rocking an in-cabin cooler for the rest of my days

Just drove home. Even stuck my hands down there and felt for warm air. It’s very negligible. You hardly feel anything.
