I have the CyberGearCo's Center Floor organizer and trash bin and it fits the space perfectly. There are a few areas for improvement (mainly around sound insulation: when you put things under the bin and they hit the "walls" of the organizer, it is loud enough to hear), but the amount of extra storage space is fantastic (the bonus is the 2 additional cup holders). FWIW, I used to put a small soft-sided cooler from Walmart (Ozark Trail, which is no longer sold unfortunately it has great insulation) in that space and it also fit perfectly. It just seems really inefficient to me to put a powered fridge in a vehicle: how much energy are you using just to keep it cool (even when you aren't actively using it)? I spend a lot of time on the tree farm and I pull my cooler when I get there, so I guess I'll be rocking an in-cabin cooler for the rest of my days ;)
I'm tempted, just because it looks to fit so well; but, I just can't think of when I might use it, since I mostly drink coffee even if it's hot outside! And, like you. I put a soft-sided cooler bag in that spot. Fits well!

I’m in a similar boat. Would like one (and my wife would like it for road trips), but we also like the space there. She puts her purse there, or a jacket, etc.

The main issue I have: $699 is a steep price compared to other options out there.

What are the inside dimensions? Trying to determine if standard takeout containers will fit nicely.
(I scanned the thread but didn't find the answer - sorry if I missed it. )
Yes. They will

I'm in sales and we work out of our cars. I have a different unit, but it has a compressor. It takes 20-30 minutes to drop to 32 degrees.

It's great. I never need to stop at a gas station for a drink. I'm fact, I bought a glass door drink refrigerator with the organizers/drink pushers exactly like the gas station has for the garage. Frees up a lot of room in our main fridge as well.

It's cheaper than retail drinks. If we take a trip, we just load up before we head out.

The older heat exchange units like in my old Range Rover are terrible. These newer compressor units get freezing cold very quickly.

A few days have passed since the install and so far it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Keep things chilled. I haven’t yet ran it down to -6 to freeze ice cream or the likes but I have no doubt it will get there. Lowest I ran it was to 30.

Two gripes I would mention is that I wished the unit would stay on until I turned it off. But again this is not the fault of the product but rather the trucks operations. The power outlet will stop working while the truck is being charged, and you have to manually turn on the setting to turn on the power outlet (when the truck is not charging) to get the fridge going again.

Second is that I wish the fridge cover/door would slowly shut. This would allow an easier one hand operation to grab a drink or some content from the fridge while driving. It would give you enough time to fish around in there to grab what you intend to grab. As it is now, the cover just falls on top of your hand and sits there until I take my hand out. Will have to reach out to CyberGear to verify if that is what the fridge door/cover is supposed to do. I recall reading the description of the product as having soft closing cover/door.

How easy/cumbersome will it be to install on an 'as-needed' basis? I don't see myself using one for my daily grind, but on a family trip, etc. it can come in handy.

Took me 10 min to install by myself.

I personally wouldn’t want to repeatedly remove and install it because of trim piece removal and tight fit even though it’s easy but if you’re not using you can turn it off and use it as a big storage compartment with whatever organizer you want in there. Again, 10 minutes and relatively easy but not super fun and not in a particularly flattering…..err…position.
that said, it consumes very little energy so I’d say if you’re raising the temp up pretty high, you can store stuff in there that doesn’t require a fridge and then turn cabin overheat protection off. I’m willing to bet you end up on the winning end of the energy equation in that situation.

Do you have to use the supplied trim piece or can you continue to use the OEM piece? I saw Chuck's video install and saw they included a two part trim piece.

Haven’t tried the original in there again yet but it would be greater pain to insert/remove
I think.
The split piece is nice quality.
