My perspective (I have 30 years of experience in Cybersecurity): Do you own a smart phone? If so, you are already compromised. Even if you have every privacy setting turned on...Sorry. Now, I don't disagree regarding the opt-out portion, nor do I think you should unnecessarily increase your exposure. There better be an option to opt out of full integration. The last thing I want is to have it replace my current voice commands.
AI will not ever be in any car or on any device that I own. So, that leaves 2 possibilities for my Teslas: (1) Opt out, or (2) bye-bye.
I guess staying on 2025.20.6 indefinitely is a third option, but that’s not tenable, so, I sure better see a fucking toggle. ?
I need ASS, dumb summon, reliable FSD, a better charging curve, HomeLink, functional auto-wipe, and a remapping of the suspension over bumps + rear wheel drive bias— all waaaaay before I need this culture-warrior AI trash ? in my CB! ?
Sigh. I hold an AI patent. I am not anti-AI. I am Anti-Grok for very specific reasons. The full context has been fully explained, exhaustively, above. My perspective (I have 30 years of experience in Cybersecurity): Do you own a smart phone? If so, you are already compromised. ?Right, it's not about privacy or exposure, it's about "voting with your feet".
Of course, every LLM trained on human interaction has suffered from various forms of insanity at one point or another. The goal should be to emulate the best of human behavior, not the sum of human behavior. Grok tends to lean toward the latter.
I see you now...Sigh. I hold an AI patent. I am not anti-AI. I am Anti-Grok for very specific reasons. The full context has been fully explained, exhaustively, above.
So, if Grok samples 100 million opinions on a topic, and reports the opinion of 999,999 and the one dissenter, have they broken a social gray area?Right, it's not about privacy or exposure, it's about "voting with your feet".

Generative Ai is already responsible for fueling massively effective propaganda campaigns on the Ukraine/Russian warfronts. It will only get worse.I will say that in my opinion anyone who is not even modestly afraid of AI is not paying attention. It’s a brave new world with all sorts of potential for negative consequences. I’m all for progress but not blindly.
It’s a tool, like a da Vinci robot, it depends on how the operating surgeon uses it.
That said, the manufacturer of that robot is not retaining input into how it operates and modifying it to serve personal or political interests.
That statement may prove prophetic and completely nonhyperbolic REM.I dare say it's the most destructive piece of technology that has ever been invented; even more so than the atom bomb.
And I fully meant it too. I sincerely think Ai is going to the be both the most exciting technology advancement in more than 100 years, and I think it's also going to be the most damaging. That statement may prove prophetic and completely nonhyperbolic REM.
*WILLThat statement may prove prophetic and completely nonhyperbolic REM.
Niels Bohr and Max Planck disproved the notion of objective reality almost 100 years ago.No other Ai platform that I have sampled is willing to even attempt to provide objective truth.
