In our past experience, making cheaper, lighter duty ends up with customers who are let down and wished they purchased the better version... We have no plans today for a cheaper rear bumper, only a Front bumper.

We also have a folding staircase that can mount on the backside of the drivers side swing away coming to make it easy to get in the CyberCamper
You heard it here first! The front bumper will be cheaper! I think the implication is a lot cheaper too!

Drilling the stock bumper shouldn't be a problem, its all plastic. I wouldn't put the mounts into that though. Find something solid under it to actually mount to.
Makes sense. Looks like they do provide a little mounting plate of sorts.

That does look very nice. More powerful than what I found. Where are you thinking of mounting it or where did you already mount it? My primary concern was space
I'm also awaiting the rinsekit installation video from Cybertruckco. I will decide the mounting location after seeing the video. I have roof rack installed so thinking inside of side window area.

What’s the purpose of the little flap on the side of the rear bumper?

The truck is long, so it will protect the rear panel when in tight space. Also looks cool!

It does look pretty cool. Corner just looks a little sharp to me where there previously was not a sharp pointy thing and it also seems to be somewhere I, and my wife and kids like to step. The side of the bumper reaching into the vault is not that uncommon of a spot for any of us. Just my two cents.
I do love the design, but don’t dig that loss of function component. It would go awesome with your sport roof rack though. The aero-fin look. Has a very f117 ethic.
Maybe you could make that piece optional or removable? Replaceable with a step?

The side plates are extra, and bolt on, not included.
