How many miles should I expect on original Tesla provided tires.
I am 85 and not a hot rod driver!

If you drive on Chill Mode most of the time with fairly maintained roads, you should get between 20k and 25k miles with factory tires.
(From my experience.)

I drive in chill mode all the time (which is still too quick in my opinion compared to similar sized trucks), and my wife drives in standard mode most the time (we drive about 50/50). After 8k miles I needed new tires.

I now have the winter tire package on from Tesla and have gone about 3k miles on those. So far they look great still. Definitely accelerating fast kills the tires. If you accelerate at the same speed as other 7,000 lb trucks they should last a while. Hard to do consistently though. I wish there was a mode below Chill called "Tire Saver" or "Grandpa" mode. I would probably use that most the time haha

Thank you, I now have 13,000miles, they look great and I certainly hope to go beyond 20K Miles. I now drive mainly in STANDARD in Full Self drive. We live in Colorado, so there are a lot of mountains to navigate.

I have an AWD with 23K miles on it, foundation series so I have the goodyear off road tires. I believe I have about 50% tread left. Obviously not going to run them down to 0%, but the tread looks like there's a lot of meat left. And nobody beats me off the light, I don't baby it.

I have an AWD foundation with the Goodyear all terrains and have almost 32k miles and mine are pretty close to needing replacement. I'm guessing I'll have to repalce them by 35k. I generally drive pretty conservatively as well.

To all the tire rotators out there, I owe you an appology. I thought my tires were wearing evenly. But, you guys got me to wondering what the ground truth was. So, I bought one of these...

I mean, I've used my calipers which have a hole depth gauge... But, this felt more accurate for some reason. Plus, it's easier to fit in the wheel well without having to raise the suspension. I mean, it's hot outside...

Here are my findings. Yes, I made a spreadsheet. It's what I do in my spare time...

Replaced the stock AT tires today. Had 24,454 miles with very little tread left.

FS AWD, 36500 miles, replaced with about an 1/8" of tread left on all four. Highway mostly and with a lead foot. Could have stretched it out a little more but Sam's Club had a pretty good deal on Michelin's and Discount Tire price matched so I pulled the trigger.

Don't apologize for caring about your tires, they are, more than anything else (except for your driving skill and attentiveness), the thing that will determine the safety of you and your family, other road users and the performance and efficiency of your vehicle. Good for you!

From looking at your numbers, I would recommend decreasing your target tire pressure by a pound or two. I'm guessing most of the miles have been lightly loaded and not aggressively cornered as a matter of course. People who drive more curves, more aggressively (relatively speaking) can run higher pressures to prevent wear on the edges. People who drive more calmly can run slightly lower pressures (to wear the edges evenly with the centers).

It also looks like the Cyberbeast wears the front tires more, it wouldn't hurt to do a front to back tire rotation now.

The tires that came on the Foundation Series are not an off-road tire (although they work fine in many off-road situations). They are branded as an all-terrain tire and are more of an all-season radial that has been toughened up for truck duty and packing a load.

The "winter" tires Tesla sells are also All-Terrain Goodyear tires that are more of an All-Terrain tire that is not that great on pavement. They are noticeably louder and give up grip on paved corners, wet or dry, noticeably sooner than the OEM tires you have. But they are tougher yet (even more resistant to cuts and punctures), and have considerably more load capacity (higher than the Cybertruck is rated to handle).

On road the tires you have are far better, off-road the "winter" All-Terrains are noticeably better on many surfaces, particularly softer surfaces (not including dry sand). On many hard surfaces off-road, it's about a wash.

I'm only at 10k miles, but they still look brand new. I "drive" mostly in an even better, more gentle version of Chill mode: FSD. I think that's why the tires look so good lol.
