Except cannot find on your web page where to make a custom print version...only various colors...

So, as you can see my truck currently has a printed vinyl wrap. I am learning that this thing won't last that long as parking lot door scrapes, etc. are inevitable. But I was wondering if your magnetic wrap would still adhere well over top of the vinyl wrap, and I could just switch between the two periodically, and thus extend the life of the vinyl underneath while covered. I realize that I'll have to make 110% sure no sand or dirt is between the two layers or it will cause scatching to the vinyl underneath. But maybe the magetic force will be reduced too much from the extra layer of vinyl?

As I posted earlier, we've been investigating the type of magnetic material needed to work best over an existing vinyl wrap or PPF. From what we've seen, it would have to be thicker, heavier magnetic material and most likely be more expensive. It would also have to be a 30 piece kit design because a thicker magnetic wrap would appear too rounded looking over the creases of the Cybertruck body, so separate cuts would have to be made to accommodate that. We will keep everyone posted.

Yes. We can even make it textured so you can actually "feel" the rust with your fingertips!

Talking of rust - I read somewhere that the stainless steel of the CT rusts when magnetic decals were applied.
Comments welcome.

That’s an old one! We solved that problem months ago. See our many previous posts. :ROFLMAO:

"Magnetic wraps must be removed for regular cleaning, especially after exposure to water or salt. Avoid any prolonged use without removal unless you have pre-treated the steel."

Does this include normal, everyday, boring rain??

Rain by itself is generally not a problem unless there is salt or iron particles present between the magnetic surface and stainless steel. Simply clean, prep and passivate the stainless surface with an iron remover like IronX and/or apply a double coat of ProtectaClear before applying the magnetic wrap.

Taking these steps will prevent discoloration and white surface contamination spots, often mistaken for rust, even if you leave the wrap on for months or longer.

We’ve also found that the dreaded, perceived “rust” is easily removed without buffing and polishing (such as resorting to use of an orbital sander or abrasives like Bar Keepers Friend) by simply using an iron removal solvent like IronOut. We even made a brief video of it here:

Our wraps have now been tested over an existing wrap vinyl at 80 MPH so far with out any trouble. See thread below:
