When asked, I tell everyone that it’s the best vehicle I’ve ever owned or driven.
I usually mention that I haven’t even put the key into my Mercedes sedan since I bought the CyberBeast!😎

After watching countless viral videos of quality control issues, fingers getting smashed in the front trunk and FSD going crazy, I was reluctant. “It will never be a real truck” was playing over in my head.

Then, I drove it…my mind started wandering…

How could a truck this big have the turning radius of a Porsche?
How could a touchscreen be so Intuitive and user friendly?
How the hell did FSD just make turns, stop at stop signs and stop for pedestrians?
Wait…this bed doesn’t have wheel cutouts…it can’t be…a functional truck?

Then, my wife drove it…I was ready for her to say “no”. Instead, she said “I wanted to hate it. I’m kinda mad that I actually really love it”

A few days later, I’m a proud owner of a Cybertruck and couldn’t be happier. No vehicle is perfect, but for me this comes really damn close.

So yes, I fell for the negative publicity and criticism. I’m so glad I didn’t listen.
Congrats! I’ve had mine since April 24 and heartily agree it’s the best vehicle I’ve ever owned. I also live in the Seattle area, so feel free to reach out with questions anytime.

Also realizing this community is pretty f’n awesome.
Well, wait until you have anything even slightly negative or critical to say about CT or EM and we'll tear you a new one faster than you can blink :)

Back in the old days we didn't have the luxury of a "test drive", when some of us bought a 100k+ vehicle at the time, we weren't even able to sit in the truck until you were literally picking it up..

Actually the more I think about it, the craziest part is I bought something so expensive on a hunch and without a single test drive and it worked out so well in the end..

Welcome to the club!

Unfortunately my wife thinks its ugly, but she will be the first person to tell you how nice the ride is. I agree with others, when I have to drive my Ram or Jeep I also forgot how and get irritated how many times I have to spin the wheel to corner. Oh I am spoiled now, my free year of FSD is going to make me want it after its up. Grok's story tells if fun while I sit there and wait to get to work or Home. Less stressed while driving . No real maintenance to do just keep it clean. Love the flat floor, fold up seat, especially grocery day. Use the Truck bed just like the RAM so far is great, love the power top over it. I have very little regrets at all.

Congrats! Same thought process here and so glad I made the choice to purchase back in April. It definitely triggers people in Colorado but I love the vehicle.

As soon as you drive it, you know exactly who’s right.
As soon as you drive it you also know why the competition is so scared of it that they need a small army of haters to talk it down!

I have no doubt this has slowed down adoption, but it can't stop people from learning how good they are over time. I'm pretty sure Cybertruck sales are on a very long, and probably somewhat slow climb to the top.

Yeah I bought the truck a year ago. And it ruined my Porsche... Steer by wire ftw.

100% the same. I have a built 06 Boxster with 390 hp. I've driven it less than 600 miles this year. I'm usually at 4000 miles by now. I do love the contrast though and now the Boxster feels almost analog and I still love the back roads with a six speed and a flat six.

You clearly have a weak mind. (Like me.) PSA--Whatever you do, DON'T drive a cyberbeast. I traded my AWD for one after a year of ownership.

Welcome to the club! The negativity is partially due to Elon's politics, but even before that the media loved to hate it. Pretty typical with anything so radically different. I mocked the Ramboxes on Ram trucks till I got them and swore I would never have a truck without them after that.

You rightly say no vehicle is perfect and it is clear that the CT was designed by people who had never driven (or maybe even seen) a pickup. You can't reach over the side, yada yada. Until someone makes a truck that does all the things you note above though, it works for me.

Totally…For me the high sides are a benefit. Being able to stack gear higher towards the cab and it still be covered is a huge deal.
