If you live in a state where you cannot get full glass coverage under comprehensive. It might be a good deal if you're doing a lot of road tripping.

But if you're driving local I would just put money aside to replace the windshield when it eventually breaks.

Comprehensive coverage on the Cybertruck is rather steep with zero deductibles. See my attached screenshot of my policy coverages.

I was paying $138 a month through State Farm but they just increased their rates for all of their automotive policies.

I'm now paying $175 a month (screenshot works out to $186 a month. This is before I called them and complained about the increase and they lowered it $15 a month down to $175) with the same coverages.

This is with a completely clean commercial driver's license in Northern missouri.

I carry $2k deductible on my cars so my comprehensive coverage is not going to come into play. I set up the inspection which is a prerequisite for Sept 12. I can decide between now and then if I think it makes sense.

My 2023 Model Y Long Range was $268 a month with the same coverage! đź’¸

Again that's with a completely clean commercial driver's license history which carries lower premiums than a standard driver's license.

At least the Cybertruck was cheaper per month than the Model Y!

We had Tesla insurance and then switch to Costco/Ameriprice. Save some money and time waiting on the phone, every time calling Tesla. And every time we call for adjustment, it cost us more for some reason. I am a 30+ years driver with no ticket or accident of my fault. Tesla charge me $339, just for my CT. Same coverage, Costco $200/month. the glass are only $250 deductible per incident. Our model y roof glass cost only $250. We did not have to pay any extra per month for the the glass protection. I wish Tesla could do a better job and coverage, I would love to give my money to them if they are a better insurance provider, but not worth it for us.

Ouch! My Cyberbeast runs me a ton less with a clean record, Illinois, over 50, low mileage though.

I have a spare windshield on credit with Tesla. My windshield has a flaw looks like water stains in the glass. It’s not enough to bother me and have it changed out now. I’ll wait until it’s heavily chipped up.

anyone carry liability on their CT? Should be cheap insurance.

So what about the tint? Will they redo that? And light bar if needed? or at least removal and reinstallation of said light bar?
If that’s included, sign me up.

That's a good question. I wonder if the tint is done at one of their partner shops, then it will be covered. That would be great if it was, otherwise it'd still be $850 out of pocket.
