And if so it worked?

No, I have not - it was just a joke, but I can't see why it wouldn't work. The water sits there because it has no where to go. Pour some water on there to find the lowest spot where it puddles and you can make a drain hole there if you want.

Alternatively you could just set the truck to launch mode and subject the water to extreme G's

Move to Arizona. Works really well for me.

Texas works pretty well too. We get a couple drops of water, say “oh, biscuits” and wipe it off with a towel and everything’s fine.
