No matter how wonderful FSD currently is my car still has no perception of school zones and theIR 20 mph speed limits. Last week for the first time I was behind a school bus in our neighborhood. The first stop was fine, the truck paused and waited but at the second stop it tried to pass the school bus despite the sign being deployed flashing on the left-hand side. That’s a big deal. So, it will learn where my local rr crossings are and act accordingly and not try and launch itself (and me) like a bird taking flight?
Just used at a crossing for first time late at night. It slowed and paused perfectly. YMMVSo, it will learn where my local rr crossings are and act accordingly and not try and launch itself (and me) like a bird taking flight?
Are we ever getting smart summon on our CT?“Version 14.0 goes into early wide release next week, then 14.1 about 2 weeks later and finally 14.2. The car will feel almost like it is sentient being by 14.2,” Musk wrote in his post.

Agreed, also it can’t see the gate in gated communities/hotels and tries to drive right thru.No matter how wonderful FSD currently is my car still has no perception of school zones and theIR 20 mph speed limits. Really? Mine stops at our gate every time. Waits for it to open, then sloooowly drives through. Lately, it's been pulling up to the keypad on the way back in, too.Agreed, also it can’t see the gate in gated communities/hotels and tries to drive right thru.
Will this be for cyber truck or all the other vehicles first?“Version 14.0 goes into early wide release next week, then 14.1 about 2 weeks later and finally 14.2. The car will feel almost like it is sentient being by 14.2,” Musk wrote in his post.

Yeah I have experienced the same. Additionally had an ambulance behind me while in FSD and it doesn't recognize it at all. Would be interesting to see if the RoboTaxi is acknowledging emergency vehicles and school bus stops??No matter how wonderful FSD currently is my car still has no perception of school zones and theIR 20 mph speed limits. That's weird, I cross a railroad every day to and from work and my only (minor) complaint is that it slows down more than it needs to. I will occasionally take over to speed up through the crossing. It will even stop while a train is crossing and then start back up on it's own when it has passed. So, it will learn where my local rr crossings are and act accordingly and not try and launch itself (and me) like a bird taking flight?
Very tough to do in the current CT hardware configuration because there are no rear-firing sensors and it would require using camera vision to figure out exact trailer length in order to change lanes. The assisted driving systems on competitive trucks use either radar or ultrasonic sensors for trailer blind spot monitoring and for lane change control. Teslas have no such rearward or other sensors, relying entirely on cameras. What about FSD while towing a camper? *I* will be in charge of changing lanes...
