TLDR: Spotted YouTuber KTY reviewing Testudio unit (possibly sponsored). Mixed feedback but still promoted. Skipping: cheap/flimsy plastic design (unclear screw materials, plastic mounts); waiting for aluminum version. Too pricey for what it is.


Sadly I failed everyone by trying to work through the manufacture. But maybe dodged a bullet I just seen my guy KTY on YouTube and testudio sent him one. I don’t know if he was sponsored or just an affiliate link. He had some positive and some negative feedback but still seemed to bush the product.

my take: I’m waiting on a better design of similiar concept. Everything was plastic and looked cheap and appeared flimsy. I can’t tell if screws are metal or plastic. But what they are screwing into is plastic mounts. I would like to see an aluminum version of this hopefully one day. For now at the price point I’m passing. Too expensive for what it is.

Well, that's disappointing. I had such hopes for something that looked like it was a good product. Agree that it's not worth it at this price point, so, I will wait until it comes down, to under $100, or redesign it to make it worth it with non plastic materials.

I reverse images the item because I knew the photos the distributor are using probably came from the actual manufacturer. And after a few pages of digging I found their instagram. It was caspian_tesla. But all communication goes through what’sapp.

But personally it being all plastic for that price it’s a pass. If it was better made I’d be all in but after seeing a few reviews of it I’m passing.

He refused to DM them for “protection” so they just let the tough streets of the Amazon review process do what they do.
So they didn’t…take him out…per se. They just let the problem take care of itself. You know how it is.
