Joe made a drone video on October 8 that appears to show large numbers of freshly made RWD Cybertrucks in the outbound lot at the Austin factory (starting at 5:54). Joe assumed that they were RWDs because they lacked tonneau covers (see 7:04).

Tesla stopped taking RWD CT orders from consumers a month ago. So why would they still be manufacturing large numbers of RWDs last week? It would make sense if the RWDs were intended for fleet deliveries, and that was Joe's interpretation:
I was just at Starbase and can confirm they were mostly RWD.

Fred Lampert runs electrek.

He won a free roadster through the referral program, but it got pulled because he broke the terms of service.

He's gone insane, he's on X.com all day sh#* talking about Tesla.

Same thing happened to Rich Rebuilds and Ben Sullens and the Jerry Riggs Everything YT guy.

Influencers that go sideways and hate Tesla - they probably lost a free car or two by badmouthing the company.

This is why you can't trust anything he publishes. He's nuts.

The rumor is that 900 out of 2400 Cybertruck’s will be assigned to Starbase. The reminder will be spread out throughout the company (California, Bastrop, Florida, etc.).
In July, it was reported that Starbase has "more than 3,400 employees" onsite. If they now also have 900 Cybertrucks, that would be like one Cybertruck for every four employees. Pretty good chance that a company truck will be available when you need one.

Some days I wish I could just quit my job and go make pizza runs in a RWD Cybertruck for starbase.

They might have pizza onsite soon. The SpaceX expansion plan for Starbase includes a $2 million, 3,000 sq. ft. restaurant with the futuristic name of "Chompy's".

Apparently not, because the AZ one is "Chompie's", and the TX one is "Chompy's". No idea if there are grounds for a lawsuit there.

I never heard of the AZ "Chompie's" before but the food looks good. Would try the Sonoran bagels.
They are solid
