The Model X Plaid they gave me had a SW governor enabled... I went to pass someone on Freeway and was met with *ding ding* and both the display and my phone told me that the speed limiter had been set. I hope that's not the case for you... BUT, if so... I believe the last 4 or 5 digits of the VIN are the unlock password (if I recall).

Not sure it helps but, if I schedule a service that has multiple things to address (or things I foresee taking an extended time), I usually say something in the chat like "respectfully requesting a loaner vehicle to mitigate any interruptions to my normal work/family life."

Not sure if that helps but I have been pretty successful with obtaining a loaner. Could just be a coincidence and good timing for availability. Good luck!

I had the pleasure of a plaid X, which was faster than my AWD, however the turning in the CT is superior. Also I felt that the x succumbs to road conditions such road pitch, ruts, etc where the CT just drives over it. Missed the CT very much 🥲

I’ve got an appointment tomorrow and there’s no transportation assigned. They’ll have my truck until the 23rd too. It’s pretty unacceptable in my opinion.

There are 3 service centers nearby and two of them don’t do anything with you for transportation.

Didn't they used to give out Uber credits for the duration of your vehicle's work? I thought I recalled them doing that in lieu of having a loaner. Obviously, not ideal, but are they even doing that anymore?

I also got a new cyberbeast a few months ago as a loaner. My service center said they got like eight of them recently because they were just sitting in local lots for over a year collecting dust.
