Here is the video where I heard about that locking plug I mentioned. The guy is super weird but the idea and the product are good.
I found them on eBay and they were shipped to me from the UK for some reason.
Once it’s in that bougerv battery and tightened. It’s never budging.

I just tried ordering on eBay and the UK is sold out and the other country was Spain after I ordered it stated they had to refund me because they aren't allowed to ship to USA.

I'm thinking of going with the DC cord you linked on Amazon for now. Next April when I visit Italy will try and buy one.

Just an idea. Any way to secure it would work. I just think it would be a pain if it was a finicky connection. I’m avoiding saying pain in the ass because of that bizarre sidebar in the video
No idea why it has to veer off to medieval butt torture to make the point, but I liked the product. lol.

How did you connect the USB? Is the cable quite visible ? I'm trying to keep things clean and minimalist looking as possible I have a magbak phone charger on one of the ports already

I just got a right angled usb-c to minimize profile and plugged it into one of the rear ports. Then I hid it between the seat rail and center console then into the battery. You’d have to really know what you’re looking for to even find it honestly.
as an interesting note, that fridge actually has a usb-c out on both the passenger and and drivers side so you actually increase your number of available plugs and you also get them in a much more convenient spot than under the rear center console.

Found a picture of the box. Yes, it’s crappy quality but it works VERY well. If you’ve ever been annoyed by these plugs coming out, this is a real solution.

Did you fuse it directly to that fuse box or rewire to the fridge directly?

I just made a cable that was that at
one end and something like this on the other.
Nothing complicated.
That way you can still power the fridge however you like.

I don't get it. The battery is too big to house the plastic portion where the fuse boxes are .

If you aren't directly wiring to the refrigerator how did you get it in?

Thanks

I got rid of that whole plastic housing. You basically just need your fridge wire to end up as this…

Or similar.

Am I misunderstanding the question?

So I finally got it installed. I'm currently going with battery under my seat with wires hidden and I'm glad I did that because I ran it 24 hours and the fridge was warm battery was completely empty and not charging from the usb c ?? What am I doing wrong here? Do you keep your fridge on most of the time? Do the usb c power off after 12 hrs?

Post some pics of your awesome dc fridge

It’s on all the time in mine. Have you checked the “keep aux power on” box in the UI?
Is the display on the battery showing both input and output numbers?
It’s at the bottom of “outlets and mods” in the CT unlike the x where it’s under charging
