Looks like it was built off of an airport “tug”, used to tow and pushback heavy aircraft.

Is there any way to determine the released sequence based on the VIN’s SN? As an example, is SN#000001 the first one made and SN#002000 the 2000th made?

Don't think so since I saw Cyberbeast VINs as low as 320's when they weren't delivered until March at the earliest.

Yeah, well anything over the one sitting in my driveway is overkill as far as I’m concerned. ?

But, I was, in fact, looking for a value existing on the continuum of the real numbers, specifically a non-negative integer, existent as a discrete and countable whole number, free from any fractional, irrational, or imaginary components.

But, thank you for your submission anyway. I’ll put it in the round file for safekeeping. ?

Use NHTSA’s VIN decoder and go from 1 to about 42,000 to see how many have 3 motors.

I believe Tesla analysts, like Troy Teslike, actually do that. They probably use computer scripts to automate the process.

Troy has Cyberbeast deliveries at 7,060 from 4Q 2023 through 3Q 2024. Those are presumably all Foundation Series. However, Troy also believes (probably based on VIN numbers) that Tesla produced more FS for the US market than they could sell, so the number actually produced would be higher. FS Cyberbeasts are still in US inventory and are presumably still selling at some rate. The FS is still selling in Canada and Mexico as well.

Tesla could provide a number, but this may not ever happen. Furthermore, Tesla probably reserves the right to restart FS production in the future, if the CT is ever introduced to additional countries (beyond the US, Canada, and Mexico). As of 2024, Mainland China has replaced the US as Tesla's top market, so they have to be at least thinking about selling the CT there. And if they did, sales would probably start with the FS again.

I think we have a pretty strong estimate now! 6,200!

https://www.cybertruckownersclub.co...oad-light-bar-recall-on-6-200-vehicles.50106/

I wonder if that’s just the ones that it’s installed on currently or if the total number eligible for the recall?

I wonder what conclusions could be made at this point. If your 7k included Mexico and Canada at that point in time, I wonder where the total foundation series production number ended up and whether 6200 is a reliable total for just FS/CB in the US? 🤔

That number should be only those with the lightbar installed (plus probably lightbars picked up by owners without installation).
