Why the half measures?

I thought about going back to the rotary phone, but then reconsidered that as a half measure too.

Now I'm back to the telegraph:

My peace of mind now has increased by orders of magnitude.

If I still get too stressed though, I am considering returning to the pony express. I don't trust USPS anymore either, as 99.99% of all mall I get through them is unsolicted spam. But after looking at pony prices, maybe carrier pigeon may be a better technology...

I think this could even be done while driving. Cages in the backseat and toss the pigeons out the window...

Only the Ham operators will be able to do the telegraph.

Seen a lady in 2025sh GMC SUV going at least 35-40mph while texting in a school zone while the yellow school zone lights were flashing?!

A similar issue. I bought a nice rear view mirror assembly and started to install it, then quit because really didn't like snaking the wires around the antenna in the overhead box that the CT Micro-Rearview-Mirror attached to. Then I decided to learn to drive and back up with the CT system. Now I've learned something new and highly useful - can we say "BETTER?"

Yesterday was a cloudy no moon night, and the view through the side mirrors was totally useless. But the built in backup camera showed the view almost as clear as mid day.

Texting and driving - lots of things we'd like to be doing while driving but at the same time let's learn new things, like hands free texting?
