That doesn't seem to work for me the way I would like. I can only drag the route to different points on the computer. But if I save the link to that route and send it to my phone it ignores the exact route choice.
I suppose I haven't checked to see if it's running the exact route as I've only used it a couple times for road trips around here.

Is anyone experiencing anxiety that a "parked" CyberTruck from pushing the "Start Driving" button backing out into the street might back into a car passing by at speed? I've had a couple occasions where I'm beginning my drive from a "parking spot" backing into the street and oncoming traffic doesn't slow for me to exit. FSD 14 gives me some anxiety it might not stop if I don't take over as it backs up. I'm yet to feel it brake in this scenario. Anyone else?

From what I've read, the preview that you get of the cameras in the app using Sentry mode are also cropped, so viewing the b-pillar camera feed might not be representative of what the car can/can't see. My first though would be: park the car at various distances along your driveway and watch the visualizer on the screen. Make sure to have the expanded visualizations turned on as well. Then wait for a car to pass and watch to see if it's detected, at what distance it's detected, and if it tracks the car past any occlusions (like other parked cars). Variables like speed of the car may impact if it's detected or not. You would think that if it can see it, maintain tracking, and identify it as a vehicle: cross-traffic alert or FSD should apply the brakes, right? Just know that if it doesn't, you're at fault 🙃.

Honestly it's hard to tell without having an accurate version of this top-down Field-of-View heatmap (not sure what model this is for). Even then, we're dealing with 3D FoV cones interacting with a 3D world so finding the true "blind spots" in the sensor FoV's is tough. I've worked on a few sensor layouts in the past (at my current job, not at Tesla) and it's very time consuming, especially when you have multiple sensor modalities (camera, radar, LiDAR, etc.).

Tesla Cybertruck FSD v14.1.7 rolling out to all Cybertruck owners! Update yours yet?? 1763576819243-j2

One thing I will note regarding FSD/Autonomy/Robotaxis - Tesla is currently the only company that I'm aware of with no roof mounted sensors (helps to see over occlusions) and to use a camera only sensor system. As he was leaving our company to move across the country, I asked our former head of systems "you can only pick one sensor, what is it" and he responded "it has to be cameras, eventually". So I'm waiting patiently to see is how soon "eventually" is. When you think about it, humans drive with just a pair of eyes/ears of varying quality and a trained/adaptable brain (prediction, historical data, etc.). So I think the path isn't impossible, but Tesla is absolutely going straight to HARD path. It's a massive lift, but if they do it they are making a self-driving car (what that means is up for interpretation) for orders of magnitude less money than the competition. It's not a zero-sum game though, so I'm rooting for them all.

Had the leave swirling on the road and came to dead stop problem happen. It jittered to start a right hand turn with traffic oncoming, eventually going in front of a truck that was going a little fast. I have had odd quick slowdowns for no reason. Windshield wiper keeps going off on phantom wipes. Overall, it is much more confident at lights and stop-signs. Has driven me from my garage to my destination and parked without interruption. It seems to be more aware of potential issues. I like the build a lot, just needs to resolve these random situations it has not anticipated like the leaves.
I had several stabbing brakes and a complete stop at an odd 3-way stop sign (in the direction I am going I am the only one that does not have to stop). The dead stop seems to be indecisiveness about that intersection. The stabby brakes seems to be tar or other spots on the road and it is far worse when the cameras are slightly inhibited from dust or rain. The same thing is true on right and left turns from stop signs. Under limiting camera clarity condition there is oncoming cars it starts and stops quickly in some kind of indecisiveness. This has been the case with cleaned cameras as well, just far less frequent. I drove last night with some rain and schmutz on the camera and it was stabby at 1/3 of the stop signs. I cleaned all the cameras today and I did not have any stabby starts from a stop sign so far. Unfortunately, my wife hates the stabby brakes and has made her uncomfortable whereas up to this point, she prefers the car to drive.....yes I am good driver, but FSD drives a little more cautiously :) It sometimes makes quick lane changes such as when it sees a turn-only marker on the road and needs to go straight through. It literally swerved back to the right to get out of the turn-only lane. Growing pains I guess.

Updated last week but didn't get a chance to really try it out. My experience:

1) love the new FSD adjustments from sloth to Mad Max. Much better than the scroll wheel increase/decrease speeds. I still feel that a Strict Control setting for schools and small rural towns (where speed limits go from 50 to 25) is needed. This would allow for strict adherence to the lower speed limit but could be switched off in summer for example when schools were out.

2) It finally (sort of) turns into my driveway. Previously it would turn on the signal but drive right by it. So far it is 50/50 which is way better than zero.

3) eBeast is very smooth, no jittery start/stops at intersections as others have noted.

4) GREAT to have it both pull away and then park at my destination.

5) This is the best update since FSD became available in the Cybertruck and I'm really looking forward to ASS and Banish in the next two upcoming updates.

I think I’ve discovered a new trix. You can nudge the wheel to dodge potholes on FSD 😂. It moves just enough.

Meanwhile, pulling into charging, it completely failed parking crossing over lines. Understandably, this station layout is a bit cramped but it move forward then backup twice and still failed. How can it not see the lines??

I've been testing V14 on known roads and situations a few days now.

It looks like two steps forward and one step back. Worked great except for a few unexpected dance moves.

Hopefully a patch for the quirks will be out quick.

Just tested out this evening after being away for a while. Ngl, feels like a bit of a regression on this version. Multiple stabs, wobbly indecisive steering scenarios, parking was a complete failure. Not complaining, I just think it puts confidence back and therefore will take time for trust to develop with end user as was achieved in 13

I also noticed a couple of times two really strange things.

1. When the CT is freaking out like jab braking or making a decision and hesitating or system error, I have been unable to shut off the FSD from the steering wheel click of the right dial. I have to hit the brakes. I thought it was a fluke, but it happened 3x.

2. I have had two system errors and of course everything lights up. First one was when FSD was turning left onto a street and crossed the middle line. I have no explanation. It broke and started flashing red steering. It wouldn't let me turn off FSD from the steering wheel. I also had a moment when FSD was active and I was at a stop light. I popped the door open to clean a camera and boom system error. Of course I caused it, but why a system error instead of just parking and shutting off FSD.

I'm having a behavior where the start fsd box doesn't turn blue all the time, but I can start fsd with the button press. I don't know what conditions have to be met for the on screen box to turn blue.

I experience that as well in some parking spots.

Ive only used it twice and I like it a lot, I've only once experienced the stuttering that has been mentioned. However, as was the problems with version 13, it decides on a different route or lane than what you want. So I've decided to let it do its thing and not cause a problem behind me or worse an accident. So yesterday I'm going into town headed north on the interstate and I'm watching the road and the route on the screen when it suddenly decides to take the alternate route. OK, ok this route will get me there also. But about a mile up the road there was an intersection that would allow a route back to the freeway. The new route was showing highlated on the screen when it instantly without warning decides to take that U-turn. So, there I was half in one lane and half into a turn (about a 345 degree turn) with a steady stream of refinery workers getting off work. I did pop back all the way into the north bound road. (I do believe I was in chill mode) I really hate HATE it when it does this. Usually it's a lane changes that it decides at the last moment to make. As a driver or user of FSD we need more warning that it is going to change lane or deviate from the route.
