On November 27, 2025, the first Cybertruck deliveries were completed in Korea.

An event filled with excitement for a truly groundbreaking vehicle.

Thanks to the unwavering support of our owners, Cybertruck has made its debut on Korean roads.

We look forward to seeing more Cybertrucks across Korea soon.

Very strange/odd/peculiar/bizarre/confusing/baffling/crazy front license plate positioning…

Make it make sense.
Based on my rough photo analysis, their license plates seem to be wider than ours. Therefore, their plates would block the front bumper camera if applied in the space provided by the Cybertruck. My theory is backed up by Grok 4.1:
USA plates (width x height) = 304.8 mm × 152.4 mm
South Korean's = 520 mm × 110 mm
🤓

The CTs in frame have the odd shaped plate compared to the Red and white Teslas.... your theory is on point.
Perhaps it's a 'styling' thing?....l do recall some of the Japanese cars here in Oz do this too.

According to Grok 4.1, South Korea uses two plate sizes, the other being 440 mm × 90 mm which seem to match the plate shape found on the Tesla Model S and X as seen in the pictures.

‘Temporary plates’ (or so they appear to be) are mounted to the side.. clearly the same size as the US plate.. front US plate cover seems to be still in tact..

I wonder if any South Korean member will join this forum, that would be unreal. On a different note, I've heard that their market got a 500A / 1000V CCS1 adapter included in their purchase of their CT - obviously compatible with the CT's fender (issue). I'm curious if this adapter will make it's way to North America or not.

I previously ordered a CCS-1 Adapter directly from the Korean Tesla website around May 2022, using a local Korean address and then forwarded it to my US address. This was before Tesla US was providing it online.

So I suspect that the Korean Tesla website will provide this particular CT CSS-1 Adapter. Currently, the one listed is only M3, MY, MS, and MX compatible.

Tesla is scheduled to start deliveries to Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar in 1Q 2026. The CT order page for those countries explicitly states that "Chargeport includes CCS2 adapter". Seems like Tesla may not be expecting huge sales in the Middle East, if it's too much trouble to change the chargeport.

Tesla Cybertruck South Korea Cybertruck deliveries have begun! SA CT

However, I don't see anything about an adapter on the Korea order page . Tesla already has a pretty extensive network of NACS Superchargers in Korea.

CCS is substantially larger and would not fit on the wing. So a more substantial redesign would be needed. Probably not worthwhile unless they start seriously considering sales in Europe and other large CCS markets. And also with prices which would support volume (which the Korean prices at least are not).

I’m guessing they haven’t even switched the electricity outlets to match the Korean market.

They definitely didn't switch the outlets for the Middle East. The Middle Eastern order pages explicitly state:
120V & 240V US Outlets (Adapter not included)
Same is probably true for South Korea, though this is not explicitly stated on the South Korea order page. The pictures of the bed on the order page appear to show the standard US outlets.
