Cybertruck Questions for 4Q 2025 Tesla Earnings Call

Tesla will be releasing the 4Q 2025 financial report on Wednesday, January 28, and holding an earnings call. So far, TSLA investors have posted 58 Cybertruck-related questions, many of which have also been asked here. Some of the most popular Cybertruck questions:

Why not turn Cybertruck’s radical design into an SUV? As a pickup it’s polarizing; as a family hauler it would be unbeatable. Combine that with real FSD education and you expand the market massively—why leave that shareholder value on the table?

When will the Cyber Truck be closer to the advertised ~$40k price or if a refresh will be coming out soon at a lower price point?

The Cybertruck line is operating at less than 20% of capacity? What are your future plans for Cybertruck?

Why is Cybertruck neglected in terms of autonomy? A.S.S, normal summon, etc. were all promised and are unavailable.

Obviously Tesla management is not going to answer all 58 questions. In fact, it's unlikely that any of the questions above will have enough support to be addressed.

However, one other Cybertruck question is currently ranked among the top ten most popular questions overall. This means that there is an actual chance that it could get raised during the call:

After the unveiling of the Cybertruck, Musk stated if it didn’t sell well, Tesla would build a more conventional looking pickup. How practical would it be to create this new design on the Cybertruck architecture and could it be conveniently built on the existing production lines?

At the moment, this is the #6 ranked question for Tesla management, represented by 1.1 million TSLA shares. That level of support suggests that institutional investors, as well as retail investors, would like to know the answer.

Tesla has answered these two. No to crabwalk and no to automatic doors.

Wes addressed both of those at least twice in the past.

The CT is a low production, low margin product for Tesla.

How about this question:

What is happening with the Cyber ATV? Is that cancelled?

During the 2019 Cybertruck announcement, Tesla also announced the full-sized "Cyberquad" electric ATV. The prototype Cybertruck had a built-in tailgate ramp: you could put the tailgate down, extend the ramp, drive the prototype Cyberquad straight into the bed, and then plug it into the bed outlet to charge (see 11:55 here).

Telsa hasn't said a word about the Cyberquad since 2021. But one retail investor is still wondering if it could be coming.

Unfortunately this is true. So they may not answer the "could Tesla introduce a more conventional looking pickup" question, even if it is in the top ten (as of now, it's still the #6 question for Tesla management, and support has risen to 1.4 million TSLA shares).

They pick things that can be answered positively.

Yup. So if Tesla actually does plan to introduce a more conventional looking pickup (i.e. answer is positive), then they are more likely to respond. If they have no such plans (i.e. answer is negative), then they are more likely to just ignore the question.

So if there is no response to this popular question during the earnings call, it most likely means that the answer is negative.

Here's an interesting question:

Will you offer a parcel/cargo delivery service using the CyberTruck’s vault, perhaps known as CyberDelivery, that is similar to RoboCab and will allow owners to earn money and increase CyberTruck demand?

In theory, unsupervised Teslas transporting cargo could have fewer liability concerns than unsupervised Teslas transporting human passengers. So from that standpoint, it might be easier to introduce an unsupervised "CyberDelivery" service than a RoboCab service.

Also, a lot of Tesla owners might feel uncomfortable letting strangers ride around in their personal vehicles. But they might feel more comfortable about letting strangers put cargo in the vault of their personal Cybertruck.

I hope they make a passenger vehicle on the Cybertruck platform, though I doubt it'll look much like the Cybertruck unfortunately. Glad to see this as a top question.

Could work in theory. Not sure what happens if either the sender or the recipient fail to appear promptly in response to notifications though.

Sounds like an inefficient logistical mess.

Who goes out to get their package out of a vehicle? Who is ready at all times for said package? How inefficient is a 1 to 1 delivery? So there would need to be multiple packages to make it worth while...how is it regulated what is taken by who? If the person doesn't come get it, what happens to the package?

I think autonomous deliveries will occur, but they will need to be on demand like a pizza delivery and likely a reduced cost to walk out to the street to get food, but for package delivery, it doesn't make sense unless you get both parties to confirm a package will be there at X time and both are ready to participate.
