Ordered 2/5, VIN assigned 2/7, delivery scheduled for 3/6.

I leased the $79k version at $1,190/month with $3,000 down. Now they just announced the $59k AWD version (no air suspension), and that would be $980/month with the same $3,000 down.

So it’s basically a $210/month difference for air suspension and whatever else comes with the higher trim.

I’m not sure if I should cancel and switch or just stick with what I have. What would you guys do?

60k version is a great deal. Not losing much overall. I would do the 60k.

Depends if quality of sound is important to you, quality of seats, lack of display for back passengers, less towing and 500 lbs less cargo (which is not a big deal for the most of people).

I love Tesla and I really like the Cybertruck. I also genuinely prefer the higher trim …. especially things like the air suspension and added comfort features.

At the same time, I’m trying to look at this objectively. Is the $20K premium actually justified? With other brands, a $20K jump usually comes with a major increase in features or performance. So I’m questioning whether the difference here is truly proportional.

Also, with the lower-priced version coming out, the Cybertruck may no longer feel as unique as it initially did — and part of paying a premium is expecting some level of exclusivity.

So I’m torn between what I like and what makes the most rational sense. Thanks.

I'm thrilled they now have (at least for the next 10 days??) a more affordable trim level without missing some of the big ticket features that the previous RWD didn't have.

That said, I have zero regrets going with the "Premium" AWD. The additions (particularly the air suspension and sound system) are worth the extra $20K to me and I plan to keep the truck for a long time.

I think it's totally wild that even at $60K, you get zero cabin power outlets. No USB-C, no 12V, no 120V. Nothing but the (bad) wireless chargers.

Im pretty sure you still get the standard USB-C ports in the cabin.

I cannot see any confirmation of that. The online owner's manual doesn't (yet) differentiate the new DM AWD interior electronics differences.

Finally received. Already abusing that AWD. To me Beast was really CRAZY THING, just suffered acceleration. AWD is soft, softer than Model Y Performance 2021 (my previous car). But it is just pleasure to drive. I am happy :) Slight misalignment at the front that I don't care. Not worth it to give to the dealer for 1-2 days to fix that minor thing. I am happy :)
Posted before. Ordered December 24, 2025, Order placed 1/13/2026, two times time jumped for EARLIER. Picked up today
