I can’t even complete my tasks via the app anymore it tells me to manage my order via the site. No vin

when I go on the site it states:

Tesla Will Contact You
As your delivery date approaches, we'll contact you to confirm your registration, payment method, and if applicable, trade-in details.
Oh dang, mine says that now, too.
I ordered Feb 13th. Also no VIN. Really hoping to get delivery within 4 weeks from now.

I ordered on Jan 23.

I contacted them via the app. They said something about getting an updated payoff note for my trade-in, but if you guys are experiencing it as well then something else is up.

OP here... I pick mine up yesterday!

Here is the recap:

Ordered on 11/14/2025 and showed 3-5 weeks

Cyberbeast, grey interior, Cyber wheels and Terrestrial package (and LUX!)

Nov 28th I was told it would deliver 12/12-12/31

Dec 17th I was told it would deliver 1/30 - 2/27

Jan 6th I was told it would deliver 2/3 - 3/17

Jan 23 I was told it would be 3/27 - 4/30 (4-5 months) WTF

Feb 3 got a Vin 09089x, and delivery date of 2/28

Feb 15 it showed at delivery center

Feb 17 I went the the Tesla location in Upland and asked if it possible to get it sooner and they we able to move it up to Feb 22 delivery date

Feb 22 - I got it. 14 weeks and 2 days (vs the stated 5-7 weeks at order) No issues at pickup. I got a mobile charger AND the TESLA CCS adapter

I can say I glad I ordered when I did, as the LUX is no longer available.

Manufacture date on door label is 02/2026

oh, and no rivet in the accelerator

this is my second CB, my wife drive my Foundation CB now - VIN 0034x (and its pink). There are some slight differences I have noticed.

The doors close smoother.
Seems quieter inside, though.... it could be new tires vs 14k on the other tires
The side mirrors have more texture finish on them now
The horn is the updated version, which i never installed on my Foundation - I think i like the new sound less

That is everything I noticed right off - I have only driven it 16 miles

Congrats! I ordered mine on 2/13 same exact config and waiting on a VIN assignment.

Do you know the exact MFG date of your VIN 09089x? It’s usually a QR code sticker on the windscreen or your sales rep has this info.

Are there any differences in the battery between your new and old cybertruck? Tesla started adding a battery chemistry sticker in the frunk on Model Ys, I wonder if cybertrucks have it too.

Let us know about the battery!
Lol.

There's nothing different for consumers. It has a theoretical 1-2% increase, but it would be locked behind the buffer. Tesla is keeping the range the same.

Dry cathode is not something worth waiting on. It's just cheaper for Tesla.

I understand your point, and am no battery expert but have read that a dry battery might have better longetivity, performance in the cold and more sustained charging curve... not dramatically but there is something...

Are these claims exxagerated?
