Oh man! I wanted the Cybertruck on day one of unveil! Put my $100 in and waited. When it finally was ready everything changed from pricing to the range. Not a happy camper. Waited about a year after and got my $100 refunded.

After 8 months of searching. I finally drove home my 2024 Cybertruck foundation series! It’s used, but brand new to me. I couldn’t afford the prices back then but was able to now! Spend 6 hours driving it home and it was worth every second of it! Yay! If you’re curious, I paid 77k for it with 25k miles on it.

Finally being apart of the pack now with everyone here. Yay…..

Unlikely you will get that info, but Tesla should have record of what was done to the truck while in their SC. Outside MODs would be tough to track unless visibly obvious
Best to ask about modifications before you purchase.

Tesla will know whether or not recalls have been performed on the truck or if they are still outstanding. You don't get anything else from them though.

Again Congrats 🎊🎉🍾

Although not as exciting, but still happy to say today I was going to pay bill in Cricket Store for my cellphone service, and BAM!

I am now a new mini CT Bluetooth speaker owner.

It gets FM, Mini SD and charges. 👍🏼

Your “waited for ever“ is misleading. You were just too cheap to buy it two years ago….😂. Happy to see that you finally woke up. You missed nearly two years of enjoying the Cybertruck. You’ll love it like we all do.😊

Well it was just so difficult for me to justify the prices when the range was 320. I just couldn’t bring my self to pay for it. At this current prices I can swing it.

I've had mine 2 years now and it still blows me away every day.
Same here, in one more month! I'm not going to tire of this anytime soon, I don't think legacy truck makers will ever catch up, for sure not in the next 6-8 years!

Congrats to the OP!

I 1000% agreed with you, as I have waited, other have came, and they all in my opinion have failed to produce an effective and efficient EV truck.

Want more range? Sure will just throw more battery at it.

Want better tech ( sorry we’re not that)

They have tried, seen the CT unveil there was and will always be one winner! It’s is all around the best value for the money!

Thank you!

The fact is Cybertruck prices haven’t really changed. The foundation series came loaded and were $100,000 and 120,000 respectively. From that point on they simply Started removing. Features like
  • 845 HP
- Off-Road Light Bar

- Life time Full Self-Driving (Supervised)

- Lifetime Premium Connectivity

- Powershare Home Backup installed

- Mobile Connector

- 3D All-Weather Interior Liners

- Center Console Tray

- Glass Roof Sunshade

- Gear Locker Dividers

- D-Rings, L-Track Hooks, and L-Track Bottle Opener

- 20-inch wheels with 35-inch all-terrain tires

- Premium 15-speaker audio system with dual subwoofers…needed for sound reduction

And to get the Cybertruck downto $60,000 Air suspension.

69,000.

The 60k price is either taking a loss or almost 0 margins. It also changed the seats, speakers, removed the rear screen/integrated vents, and outlets from the cabin.

The value has certainly increased since the Foundation Series that I bought. I knew I was paying an extra premium, above and beyond the actual value of the Foundation perks, for the right to take early delivery of the best pickup ever. If you think the Foundation "goodies" were worth $20,000, then I have some knick-knacks to sell you. Contact me me via PM.

The directive to the Cybertruck team was to make the best pickup in the world, whatever it takes. The problem was things like the ultra-durable stainless steel, four-wheel steering and steer-by-wire, and the awesome automatic tonneau cover priced it right out of the mainstream truck market (at least for now).

All of these features and extra durability add cost, only so much can be done to bring it down through manufacturing refinement and efficiency gains. Especially when the relatively low sales volumes are working against volume efficiencies.

It appears Elon's plan is a long-term plan. No one is going to make a better truck, Tesla just has to continue to streamline production processes and continue to make batteries cheaper and more energy dense. In the interim, they are doing what they can to keep the price affordable enough to maintain volume efficiencies. The removing of the air suspension, while leaving the tonneau cover, steer-by-wire, four-wheel steering and ultra-damage resistant stainless steel was the right move to keep volumes up. $10K is a lot of money to someone who is already stretching to buy a new truck and now Tesla has a nice price spread, of three models, tailored to how much different buyers can swing.

The $59,990 Cybertruck base All-Wheel Drive model with standard coil spring suspension (featuring adaptive dampers) is no longer available at that price. It was offered as a limited-time introductory deal from February 19 to February 28, 2026
