So i found these. Rear Door Emergency Release Handles – Pair (Left & Right) for Tesla Cybertruck | eBay. They look great. and if you've ever even looked at the rear door emergency release, you would be shocked that that passed. These look like something you could actually find in an emergency.
You were shocked that it passed what?

Federal Motor vehicle Safety Regulations require emergency releases on both front doors, there is no requirement for the rear doors.

Tesla's focus on safety included rear door emergency releases out of an abundance of caution.

I looked at and tried some grab handles but didn't like the readily available options so DIY'd this one to help pull myself up into the bed. It has a magnetic handle that keeps it closed when not in use.

This looks so useful + amazing. Any help with DIY instructions or has anyone else attempted?

id be interested to know your opinion on how it works!
I purchased 5 of these products. the 2 I like the most due to the size and how it protects the truck are these:

https://a.co/d/0eOItp0B

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FSK42LFS (cheaper)

Will I use these? I think they get you higher than necessary and a simple step that i use to get into the bed of my truck will suffice for most of my needs. I may hang onto it for a couple weeks to see if it makes sense, but ultimately I think I would recommend buying a 1 or 2 step light duty ladder.

So I know I said these were overpriced and paying $200 for a pair of ratchet straps is stupid.
Both are still true but I bought them and they are pretty awesome so I’m here to eat my words.
Really nicely built and incredibly easy to use.
appears to be a buy once cry once type product.

The RinseKit tailgate shower is really cool. I removed the 10 - gallon water bags and store them in the under bed storage

I looked at that thing repeatedly because I use the Tesla tailgate protector and rinsekit all the time but the tailgate is such an important, hangout, staging area, changing table and bench for us I didn't really want to give that up.
same for the frunk, I try to keep it empty whenever possible for social bench use.
The bladders are on the inside of the tailgate pad on the rinsekit right?

I’ve been testing them for a month and would completely agree! There pricey for sure but given the amount of use I’ve put ours through, they’re more than worth it! Owner is top-notch first class as well! Great company and can’t recommend them enough.

J. Not an urgent question but how many spaces between the holes on those van essentials bags? For the large and medium.
asked differently, how many open l-track spaces do I need to comfortably mount each?

My wife questioning why I’m going into the garage late at night with my phone in my hand…. Priceless! Haha

Figured I’d get you a picture so that you can plan accordingly. Only issue is that I don’t have much clearance over the bed of the truck because of bikes hanging, and I was too lazy to army crawl my way back out of the bed to turn off the bed lights. As such, I had to improvise in order to block out the light. Haha

Thank you for risking you marriage for me. So 8 holes between the holders on the large?

I like living on the edge like that! 😂. That’s actually the medium and sorry for not clarifying. Working on the large now as the picture wasn’t as clear as I thought.

Track count is 10 for the large and 8 do the medium. Good luck and post pictures when done. Do you know what you’re planning on throwing in them?
