I have not seen that specific spotting. Im confident that CYBERBRITE will work. If you will private message me I would like to discuss the issue. Mention salt spot.
Thanks
Gary
CYBERBRITE.
Hey @CYBERBRITE1 this product looks amazing I was considering a full ceramic coating but this might be exactly what I need.

1. i saw it asked earlier but didn’t see your reply.
what is the shelf life of the product? Asking because might take advantage of the 3 qty order.

2. For regular weekend washes would you say oh neutral for the soap choice?
Hi. It has been my experience that it will last for at least 2 years. Remember if you have any problems or if you think it’s effectiveness has been reduced due to time, we will replace it at no charge. Use a mild soap as directed by Tesla.
thanks

Thanks, I placed an order for 3 I look forward to seeing how well it works. Approximately how much coverage would 1 bottle do? Is it just enough for 1 application or how many applications per bottle for the entire surface of the cybertruck?

Hi there is enough CYBERBRITE for 2 generous applications. After initial application with a little left over.

Going to post my review of Cyberbrite in this thread instead of creating a new one :)

More than two months ago (before I even picked up my CT), I contacted Gary/Cyberbrite regarding an offer of a sample.

Gary arranged for me to receive a sample at no charge, and no expectations. I was not compensated for this review, nor has anyone else seen/reviewed/approved this ahead of this post (standard disclaimer).

At the risk of sounding duplicitous to others here, this stuff really does work. HOWEVER... you must follow the instructions. Don't be dumb like me and forget the final step: wash the application off with de-mineralized water! This process does take some elbow-grease, the results are only as good as the prep work and the effort you put into being thorough.

Follow the prep steps word-for-word, and you should get good results. I actually needed 3 coats before the staining and rag marks were sufficiently removed. Then I gave it a good rinse and careful drying and the results are fantastic.

Remember to not apply when the steel is hot, or in direct sunlight. The real test of how well it worked? My teenage son (who didn't even know I was washing the truck or using Cyberbrite) asked me "How did you get the Cybertruck so clean?" :ROFLMAO:

First frunk pic is after wash, but before Cyberbrite. Second pic is after the applications(s). Final pic is after complete treatment. I'm very happy with the results, and will be buying more.

Hi Gary @CYBERBRITE1 - I just received my order of 3 bottles - quick question: they're all in a plastic bag, but there's fluid loose in the bag and the bottles are all wet. They are all still closed with their seals intact, so is that normal or does that affect anything? TIA

You know how your truck is an exoskeleton? It's like that with the cyberbrite. Patent pending.

Hi. Yours is the first I’ve heard of leaking. It shouldn’t affect anything other than possibly having a little less in the bottle. Was there one of the bottles that had less than the others? Private message me please I have a few questions.

Hi. Not sure what you mean. To clarify the patent thing. I stated in the introduction that I have an accepted provisional patent by USPTO for what it’s worth.

My attempt at humor, the liquid was on the outside. I'm a customer. Looking forward to my first application.

Hi Gary @CYBERBRITE1 or anyone else familiar with this solution.

I'm still impressed with the results, my review is posted above.

However, I have a couple of areas on the lower portion of the passenger door that I can't seem to de-stain. Things I have tried:
  1. Wash throughly with my standard car wash solution/process (works great everywhere else)
  2. Dry
  3. Vigorously apply heavy application of 91% isopropyl alcohol with microfiber towel
  4. Apply Cyberbrite, 2-3 coats, allowing drying between each.
  5. Rinse
Yet stains are still there. I have done the above process 2X, a week apart. No improvement.

Any advice appreciated!

Hi could you take a close up of those marks. I haven’t see that before. From the pics, that look like scratches in the metal. I might be able to tell with close up.

Hi another suggestion. It also looks like something may have scrapped against it and left either plastic or paint on the surface. I have used goof off pro to remove those types of things, including tar.

@CYBERBRITE1 it doesn't look like something scraped and left paint/similar. It's more like wipe marks, and the pattern is more consistent with something being wiped on, yet 'stuck'. Not road debris, or paint transfer for rubbing. It's in several spots, so it wasn't a single point of damage.

I don't mind trying Goof Off... but is there any risk of damaging the steel?

No risk to the stainless. I use goof off in my profession to remove adhesives. If something was wiped on. , the goof off should remove it. If it’s not a manufacturing flaw in the stainless, whatever is on it did not penetrate the stainless. I’ll be interested in the results.
