Hi. First, from my many years of experience with these products, storage should not be an issue. There have been a few issues like yours that we have resolved by adapting application processes. Being here in Texas I didn’t have the diverse environmental conditions to anticipate how the drying and wiping effect would influence the CYBERBRITES effectiveness. I am truly sorry for that overlook but know that CYBERBRITE works when the active ingredients have a chance to work. Three things are apparent on application that all must be aware of for proper effectiveness.
1.CYBERBRITE MUST remain wet during application. This may require applying I sections.
2. Every subsequent repeat application MUST be done with a clean towel.
3. CYBERBRITE application must remain wet for a minimum of 20 min.
I’m going to repost an explanation on the “why” for this process along with the updated application instructions. As always. If you are not 100% satisfied with CYBERBRITE results we will issue a full refund.

"Why First-Time Users Should Apply CYBERBRITE at Least Twice"

"Think of heavy surface oxidation and contamination like baked-on grease on a pan. One quick wipe with cleaner helps, but to get it truly clean and shining again, you often need to reapply fresh cleaner and let it work longer.

Here's what happens with CYBERBRITE:

• The first application starts dissolving the oxidation and contaminants right away. It "uses up" much of its cleaning power lifting that initial layer.

• Reapplying fresh solution (while keeping the panel wet) brings in new active ingredients to tackle any remaining stains deeper and more completely.

• Keeping the cloth clean , removes oxidation and prevents you from just spreading the lifted dirt around.

• This process also prepares the surface perfectly for the passivation step — building that protective nano-layer that helps keep your Cybertruck looking brighter longer (4-6 months depending on conditions).

Real customer results show it: Many say the difference is noticeable after the first coat, but the second coat makes the stains "GONE" and restores that factory-fresh shine."

CYBERBRITE APPLICATION:
INITIAL CLEANING:

The surface of your Cybertruck must be wash thoroughly and dried before applying CYBERBRITE. Pay wand car wash or home hand wash with a mild detergent, followed by pressure rinsing and drying before proceeding. Drive through brush car washes work great, but should be used only at owners discretion. The least expensive drive through option provides all the necessary cleaning and drying.

ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

It is important to apply CYBERBRITE in a shaded area out of direct sunlight. Temperature should be above 45 degrees F.

APPLICATION PRE-TREATMENT

CYBERBRITE must directly contact the oxidized stainless steel to de-stain and passivate properly. Any coatings, direct or indirect must be removed prior to use. For ceramic or other applied surface protection coatings, consult the manufacture for removal processes.

Car wash water shedding chemicals (waxes), hand applied waterless wash, or glass cleaners may possibly leave a film that can build up over time. Washing may not remove all remaining residue.

If you have concerns about possible surface residue, wipe down the stainless surface with a solution of 99% isopropyl alcohol (Amazon) before CYBERBRITE application. The alcohol is also great for removing finger prints.

FIRST TIME APPLICATION:
First time application of CYBERBRITE requires a minimum of 2 continuous coats. These coats are to be applied in sections based on ambient temperature. CYBERBRITE works best if the application remain wet. In most cases, Cyberruck can be divided into 3 or 4 sections. ( Drivers side, Passenger side, Front/Rear, or Front, Rear)

FOR EACH SECTION

1. Saturate provided micro-fiber cloth with CYBERBRITE. (Not dripping)
2. Wipe the section completely, keeping the cloth wet.
3. Let the application set 10 minutes or until it appears to be drying out.
4. Apply second coat over first. Make sure that the application cloth remains clean. Oxidation may be removed and deposited on the cloth.
5. Let the second application remain for a minimum of 10 minutes.
6. If any staining is visible, apply a 3rd coat.
7.Repeat the “INITIAL CLEANING” process mentioned above.
8. After drying, if any stubborn spots are noticed, wipe with 99% alcohol and spot apply CYBERBRITE followed by wash, rinse, dry.

APPLICATIONS AFTER INITIAL APPLICATION.

The second time application of CYBERBRITE normally only requires one continuous coat. In most cases there is no need to apply in sections unless there is very high ambient temperature or there is sever spot contamination staining.

  1. Saturate provided micro-fiber cloth with CYBERBRITE. (Not dripping)
  2. Choose a starting point and continually wipe the entire Cybertruck completely, keeping the cloth wet.
  3. Inspect to see if any spots have been missed and re-apply if needed.
  4. Wait a minimum of 15 minutes after completing application.
  5. Repeat the “INITIAL CLEANING” process
@acyberbrite1 - Thank you for responding and explaining the options and renewed instructions. I do have a question about the updated process.
When working in sections to keep the product wet, should we:
  1. Apply both coats + dwell time to one section,
  2. Move to the next section,
  3. Then do the final wash/rinse after the whole truck is done?
Or should each section be washed/rinsed before moving on?
I think I am a bit confused with the “keep wet” requirement vs section-by-section application.

Hi I just now saw your request here. I sent you a private message.

This is what I would do.
I would pic a section, drivers side,
I would start at back, slowly apply forward to front, watch the starting point for drying and then immediately reapply with clean cloth. I would continue this process for 20 min. After 20 min, wash with soap and water then pressure wash. then continue to next sections. Front and rear, passenger side. Thank you for your input in this.
Your experience will help me better explain how to apply CYBERBRITE.

Are you trying to do the whole truck at once? With the heat you have to deal with, you may be better served doing one panel, washing and drying it off, then moving on to the next.
I did one side of the truck that was in the shade and then I turned the truck around and did the other side.
