Just wondering how strong the mounting points are. I noticed in the install video there is only a single bolt at each pillar?

Also what is the height and width of the crossbar?

We use one M10 stainless bolt on top of each mounting bracket, along with two factory M6 studs below for secure attachment. We’ve seen at least three cases where the factory M6 studs broke just from removing the original nuts on the two mounting points above the roof glass. While the M10 hardware we use is strong enough to handle the load, the factory M6 studs are not as durable and can fail under stress. So please remove the factory nuts slowly and avoid using power tools to prevent damage. This is one I saw that’s using a different brand’s crossbar

Our crossbar is 25mm (1 inch) tall and 80mm (3.15 inches) wide, which is a perfect fit for the Starlink Mini Roof Rack Mount.

Our crossbars using M10 nuts in the T-slot, allowing you to mount an awning with M10 bolts or use M10 eye nuts for ratchet tie-down straps. https://a.co/d/hKWlZio

You might see other crossbars with more T-slots, but many of them only support up to M8 bolts.

Hope this helps!

How are things coming along on the full size tent/camper setup? Is it going to be insanely cool?

We added a few more features and functions recently, which caused a slight delay😅 But we’re working on it every day and doing our best to get it ready. Hoping to share it with you all by late August!😊

I’m pumped and still making no decisions until I see your setup.
The second gen bed cap looks awesome.

Finally got the full length tent prototype out here this time!
Been following your reveal, I like the way it looks, didn't get it in time for my month long utah trip. Hoping it's ready mid June for our month long Canada and West coast.

So..nobody likes the hard questions but do you have a target price range for this thing?
It’s definitely a relevant part of this decision process for a lot of people.
