Tesla Cybertruck NEW: Horizon Rooftop Tent | Mars Adventure Gear | Cybertruck 1778690787529-h7

Pull the ladder. Flip the shell. Sleep four under the stars.

The Mars Horizon is a fold-over hard shell roof top tent built for crews and families who want serious room without sacrificing aerodynamics on the highway. The telescopic ladder doubles as the deploy lever — pull, flip, climb in. From closed shell to fully pitched basecamp in under a minute, by two people, with no tools.

KEY FEATURES

  • Ladder-assisted fold-over deploy — the telescopic ladder is your lever, opening the tent in seconds
  • Family-size sleeping area — 82.7" × 49.2" floor, comfortably sleeps 2 adults
  • Compact closed footprint — just 56.7" × 42.1" on the rack, ideal for narrower roof platforms
  • Aerodynamic hard shell protects bedding, mattress, and gear from rain, UV, and dust
  • Aluminum alloy frame with reinforced nylon joints — built for washboard roads
  • Double-layer silver-coated fabric for heat reflection, insulation, and full waterproofing
  • Built-in A/C power cords on both sides — run lights, fans, or chargers from your auxiliary battery
  • Telescopic aluminum ladder rated to 330 lbs, removable and stowable
  • Universal rack compatibility — fits Front Runner, Rhino-Rack, ARB, Yakima, Thule, and most factory crossbars (M8×50mm and M8×70mm T-bolts both included)
  • Includes thermal insulation liner for shoulder-season comfort
  • Spring poles prop the rear awning for extra covered space outside the tent
SPECS
  • Sleeping Capacity: 2 adults
  • Open Dimensions: 82.7" × 49.2" × 42.5"
  • Closed Dimensions: 56.7" × 42.1" × 11.4"
  • Tent Weight: 123.5 lbs

Looks nice. Got any pictures of it closed on the CT? Or is this a different tent shown on the CT?

If it’s the same tent, it seems like a much better design for the rivian honestly, from an aerodynamic standpoint.
On the CT it would need to be further back which isn’t really in the current Mars rack’s wheelhouse in order to not substantially raise the roof height and drag a brick through the air. Same problem as the air tents people were using in a treehouse setting.
Obviously they know that, which is probably why the marketing material selectively leaves images of that off the page.
Still waiting on more details from Mars Ag themselves, but disappointingly I think this is another tent I’m going to pass on.
if I was driving an R1T though it looks awesome.
Different story I think if it fits on the rearmost leveling crossbars though.
Can it be mounted on these @Mars Adventure Gear ?

that’s a basecamp on the CT. wonder if they meant to post this on a rivian site?

I have. It’s very cool but I generally camp with three small children and a frenchie in addition to my wife who doesn’t like to be cramped.
so while I agree it’s amazing it’s just not for my application.
