Windshield tint (upper part)

Has anyone else tinted the top of their windshield like this? Is this a normal amount?
Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated.

I have my windshield tinted with 70% and I have a 5% eyebrow. The eyebrow is only behind the visor. I didn’t want mine that low. The bottom of that edge would be directly in my line of sight.

It seems low but the installer said i would get used to it. I agree. I already am... it is like having a hat on that you can see through. I am going to give it a summer and see if I like it.

I love tint and my entire windshield here in Arizona is tinted right up to the edge of the legal limit but I think I would hate that.
It’s distracting to me even in a photo.
I realize when people ask you what you think of their haircut you don’t say, “I hate it” but in this case you may still have recourse with your installer and I’d be dick if I didn’t tell you I think it’s gonna bug the hell out of you.
That’s the point with the best vision out of the front of the car right where it makes the transition. That’s why the FSD camera is there.
If you like it, you like it but I think “you’ll get used to it” is installer code for, “I’m not redoing it”.

Even the shades Gus was talking about end much higher than that. I use them intermittently too.

If you tint your windshield only and not the front side windows you won’t get a ticket.

I went the full 50 percent and love it.

I am pretty happy with it. I just lowered my seat position a smidge and now it seems perfect.
