I just noticed my cover closes on the passenger side first to the tail gate then the driver side by about an inch or so… anyone else notice their cover not closing equally on both sides to the tail gate?

I'm not sure how long it’s been doing this… maybe after the additional slate was added last year. Doesn’t seem like a huge issue until it is out of warranty and fails.

You can recalibrate it via the service menu. I've had to do it once or twice.

Good to know, I haven’t played around in service mode too much on the truck. I will attempt that and see if she is fixed. If not, will send her to the service center.

I had the uneven tonneau a while ago, it required a SC visit to address the issue. Ended up taking them a few days to sort it out but I think they have a much better understanding of this condition now. its either a bent track or one of the motors is lagging the other but that is a very rough guess. Hope this helps.

yeah did the service mode calibration… it passed but didn’t change the issue. Will have to put in a service ticket.

The slanting is likely due to extra friction on the more closed side. When opening, you may be able to see the slats start gapping on that side also (which could reveal the sticky/ dirty spot).
It could also be a guide not fully inserted from the retrofit. In that case, the cover may be even until near the end.

Mine bound to the point it wouldn't close and had to be replaced.
