Tonneau cover issue

Went out to CT light mist. Was showing features and tonneau cover kept opening

it would stay shut when tail gait was down. Then it wouldn’t respond to close at all at one point

noticed in app on of the outlets was on, turned it off and everything worked fine

not sure I have an actual service issue yet unless it does it again. Highlighted outlet that was on in the screen capture attached.

There have been a couple other owners who posted about phantom openings of the cover, may want to get it checked out. Especially if you store things in it.

I was a little concerned when the service team was performing a tonneau calibration during delivery, but assumed it was part of the checklist...? But now I think it was acting up before delivery, because it has misbehaved for me often. Near the bottom of travel, it will sometimes stop and reverse. I can usually nudge it back-and-forth to get it closed, but now it's stuck slightly open and won't budge.

One of the downsides of being in Austin is all the damn Teslas, since my service appointment is over 2 weeks out. I can get it looked at tomorrow if I drive to San Antonio hahaha

2 weeks to get in and get it looked at? Then plus parts and time, they need to hire more people. 2 weeks to get a vehicle worked on is ridiculous.
