Pro tip: anyone using their vehicle as a means to threaten or intimidate immediately opens themselves up to deadly force response.

I’m as liberal as they come and I seriously have no idea why people act this way. It’s pathetic tbh.

Nope, I didn't cut him off. I was going 80 in the left lane. Video didn't show it, but my truck was passing a number of slower cars that were in the right lane. I was in hurry mode, which keeps me at about 79-80 in a 70 zone. He was behind me, and going the same speed, then suddenly decided he wanted to pass me on the righthand side going about 100. I didn't even see him coming.
In the first video, it seems that he passes you and is gone. Do you think if you hadn’t tried to “catch up to him to get a good video of his license plate”, that the encounter would have simply ended there, with him just passing you?

He wasn't gone. He got trapped by a minivan and a car going 70MPH, so I caught up quite quickly. I didn't get up in his business. I was at least 3 car lengths behind when he repeatedly slammed on his brakes for no reason other than the fact I was driving a Cybertruck. Unfortunately the CT video stops after this point (I think I manually stopped the video rather than starting it).

I find it interesting that you are jumping to his defense. Says a lot about who you are and how you think. Basically you're accusing me of triggering his reckless driving behavior that put not only me but several other people on the highway in danger. Makes as much sense as, "If you hadn't driven a Cybertruck in the first place he wouldn't have tried to side-swipe or brake-check you."

I asked a simple question and got my answer, thanks.

Don't fall for the bait bro. I deal with retards trying to race me or get my attention by revving up and down all the time. I've had a couple diesel shitboxes try to roll coal but I just went around their slow ass. I tend to leave it in chill mode and stay to the right anyways, since I'm half paying attention with FSD on. Supposedly It's supposed to get even less nagging at the end of the year when they align it with the cybercab profiles.

I intentionally waited until the last day to order the $60K SAWD in hopes that they sell enough trucks ahead of me for the targeted hate to die down. Sadly, I'm not sure Elon is capable of keeping his mouth shut long enough for that to be a reality.

In general, having driven six Teslas since 2020, our family has experienced this type of behavior on the regular. Anytime we drove our Model Y through deep rural areas to get to trailheads, we regularly got flipped the bird or attempts at coal rolling. Even today, no teenager in a rusted-out pickup seems capable of passing my M3P without riding my bumper, cutting me off, and speeding off like an idiot.

It's definitely much worse now that both ends of the political spectrum hates Tesla. I expect it will only get worse as corporate media continues to unzip society, convincing people that their neighbors are somehow the reason no one can afford anything and not the billionaires buying elections.
We feel the same in our state and own an FS Cybertruck and Model Y. But what are we supposed to do? I’m considering buying a Rivian and trading in the Cybertruck. I test-drove the R1T and it was nice, storage was awesome, not as unique as the CT, but it felt amazing to drive and not have people pointing or looking at me. I could have my windows down and music playing without feeling nervous about having people shout or flip me off. I knew if I parked, no one was out to key my car or spit on it. But I was worried about the growing pains of Rivian…although my CT has a PCS failure and has been in the shop multiple times, similar to the growing pain that Rivian has gone through. It’s a huge trade-off. I love my Cybertruck but hate the stigma and chronic worry. I’d take a hit in switching, but the offer from Rivian currently gives me positive equity. Maybe it’s time to leave the CT and Tesla universe. As a foundation owner, it’s hard because I wanted this truck so badly.

That’s all we need in the news… “Cybertruck owner shoots and kills driver for brake checking them” we’d need our “bulletproof” trucks after that!

That is very ignorant to think that deadly force is justified for a simple break check. That would also be an illegal use of deadly force. I didn’t recommend that at all. I’m talking about the idiots that feel the need to personally confront CT owners, that’s when thing can get out of hand quickly. That’s the stupid games. Anything else you need me to explain to you’re like your 5??
