Jacob at the Fife SC did my delivery inside. He said he wouldn’t be able to get the delivery completed if it was in the parking lot. ? I guess we’re special for now?

As it should be! We’re buying a $100,000-plus vehicle and it should be clean when we pick it up. All it takes is some effort. The display unit that sold me on the CT wasn’t dirty and I don’t expect mine to be dirty when I pick it up. This isn’t a rental car that’s just been turned around with a quick spray and wipe.

Took delivery from Seattle SC today, smooth process, but the car was not super well detailed, looks kinda dirty with spots everywhere, staff was still cleaning the car when I arrived. After inspection, the backseat center cup holder is a little loose on the fold up location and one of the little hook above the door got stucked. But other than that no major issues I could find.

I had picked up from Seattle on 4/25. It was lightly raining that day and the truck was outside. So it had water drops on it. looked pretty clean to me. Inside was spotless. I was just happy to get it. I did a quick inspection and found no issues.

Right after that I started a long road trip. Am in Monterey right now and headed to San Diego. It’s all dirty and bugs in front but still looks amazing.

Seattle area, VIN showed up on 4/9. Called two weeks ago (before news of the recall came out) and was told delivery window is 4/22 - 4/30. No news since then about my delivery, but I assume the recall sets me back another week or two.

Can you give us the details of your order ?

My vin is 66XX as well but received on 4/23, interesting 15 days apart, only less than 100 vins difference.

Took about 45 minutes, most of it was inspecting the truck.
No major problems, not worried about some minor blemishes, or the scratch on the hood.

Was charged to 70%.
I had attached my checking account with plaid the day before, but for some reason at delivery it could not use the account. As advised by my delivery advisor, I deleted the account from my wallet and reattached. The payment then went through.

Got a lot of attention on the way home when the kids got out of school.

Wanted to try out the vehicle to home, but don’t have wife approval to turn off the power yet.

It drives like the future.

I love the rivet in the accelerator pedal very cool. ?

Yes they did. We saw one just off the truck, looked terrible. Mine had been cleaned, polished and the tires dressed. Happy with the fit and finish as well.

We found it on the lot charging, with my name in the window. Inspected for 15’ before going in to do the registration paperwork. They pulled it up front, let me inspect for a while, then I paid and accepted the car. I had no questions after watching hours of youtube content on the controls and software.

Congrats! Glad it went smoothly for you. Saw you pulling out as we were arriving to take delivery of ours. Overall good experience as well, especially with the service assistant who made sure our questions/concerns were dealt with. The sales side — meh. Overall the CT was reasonably clean and a couple of jagged/sharp panel edges are being dealt with. Definitely a different animal to drive/operate but it’ll be a fun learning curve.
