I’m waiting for someone to create / design a nice rear spoiler for the Cybertruck.
Nothing crazy, just a rear wing to go from about 8 inches before the edge in an upward counter angle to the truck.
Would be perfect!

Best part - you can use the mounting bracket already there for the roof racks!?

Anyone that can draw can put this together in minutes. It would add a sporty feel to the slightly plain rear.

Thought!? Can anyone doodle this quickly?

This would be very cool. I am sure there is a market for it. It needs to lightweight so it is easily removal and not effect the aerodynamics in a negative fashion.

And just a reminder, you're good with the loss of range that it will create?

If the design improves aerodynamics for the better and made with lighter true carbon fiber, it may be a compromise worth taking. ?

It would definitely need a quick disconnect feature for two reasons:
1) Long distance travel to maximize range
2) When bed is needed to move large items like furniture etc.

It won't. I don't think that it can.

Spoilers are generally for increasing rear axle down force. To create that force, you have to steal power from somewhere, and that's the airflow.

So pretty much by definition, a spoiler is going to disrupt the airflow and create drag, increase the CoD and reduce range.

It's pretty much identical to sticking your hand out the window. It's going to be pushed back by drag, period. But you can create positive or negative lift by angling your hand.
But the higher the angle of your hand, the more it gets pushed back.

Like I said, spoilers are generally for negative lift or down-pressure on the rear axle for more traction.

The Cybertruck already has a big battery doing that.

Why be a spoiler for the spoiler? CAD artisans, 3D printers and aerodynamicists, prove us wrong. ???

Provide one example.

And think about it. If something as simple as a spoiler would have decreased CoD, why would Tesla not have already added it?

Focus. They got bigger fish to fry right now.
