Sounds like a bunch of us are getting trucks in GR next week! Hope that doesn’t overwhelm them and they get sloppy on prep.. Congratulations!!
Oh man that’s a bummer.. how many miles you drive with it? I got home and took it for spin few times and so far no issues..
It's about 25 miles from the dealer to my house. Truck itself has under 100 miles. It was perfectly fine until that last bit. That was when I opened it up for the first time. Letting off the throttle hard seemed to trigger the fault.
Yeah thats not much miles at all.. Im still getting used to the one pedal driving and only about 50 miles in.. i had couple hard accelerations but didnt go too fast with it maybe upto like 60-70mph! Tesla can probably figure out something if it is related to acceleration/deceleration related power surge or smthin .. hopefully you’ll get truck back soon !
Same here. I stopped by on Friday, and they told me the train is still en route to Chicago. Roughly another week out for delivery. Hopefully we get dates this week.
Might make more sense to wait for the VIN to show up first. Seems like consistent timeline is about 2 weeks from VIN to delivery.
Thanks for the reality check. I'm happy to see at least some progress, but yeah, I won't be giving final payment until I can see run through a delivery checklist.@Dazureus: That's normal in the app and doesn't indicate you're close to a VIN unfortunately.
Just don't want to get your hopes up. Keep an eye out though...like I had mentioned above they wouldn't transport my truck to the dealer without final payment first. I guess you can pay now, but you may just be giving it to Tesla for weeks/months before you get a VIN/truck.
