Just Received a VIN in Florida. It's Showtime!

After a long wait, I received my VIN today. RN112922508 -- Configured on 03/07 -- VIN Received on 05/10/24.

Did insurance right away and made final payment as well without receiving a delivery date. YES, I didn't want anything to go wrong. so made payment as well.

Does Tesla waits for delivery date to remove your funds, or do they take it no matter when delivery is scheduled for?

I think that they do the transfer when you submit it.

Keep your expectations tempered though, it still may be a few weeks.

Make sure you have a photographer with you to get a picture of that grin!

The grin happened the minute I saw that VIN number. It was a double take and took a while to sink in. quite a moment to say the least.
