Help me put together the items I should carry with me when traveling in the Cybertruck. Decades ago my daily transportation was a motorcycle. Rain or shine. It was before they were nearly as reliable as they are today. The motorcycles always came with a tool kit. The Beemers had everything you needed for most repairs, including getting the tire off the rim, pumping it up after patching and a monogramed rag to wipe your hands when finished. The Tesla has an app with a Roadside Assistance button.

My life experience just won’t let me surrender my self sufficiency to that extent yet. So I carry with me those items I think are appropriate to my mode of transportation. I know I don’t have everything I need yet, and I bet some members on the list can help me out with useful suggestions. What I’ve got so far,

Flashlight
Gloves
Duct tape
Screw Driver & Pliers
Tire Plug Kit
Air Compressor
Electric Extension Cable
The Tesla Portable Charger and Charging Adapter
Step Stool
Moving Blanket
Finger Print Remover
Bike Ramp
Recovery Straps
Trailer Hitch and Safety Chain

What else should I carry in the truck?

Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I’m trying to run down the use case for this.
If the 4 amp hour 48 volt LVB dies,
a) The High capacity battery is dead also.
b) The LVB has a malfunction.

1. If the LVB is dead, it’s likely I’m locked out of the vehicle.
2. If I carry jumper cables in the vehicle, they will be inaccessible to me. I can’t use them to even unlock the frunk.

There are some nice jump starters available. Some have stand by mode of 24 months and 5 minute charge time, but I’m missing how they will be helpful to someone alone.

An item I’ve yet to buy is a recovery hitch receiver. There are no tow attachments on the rear of the Cybertruck. I’m wondering if anyone has experience with these? The hitch point limit is listed as only 160 lbs. I hate to have the attachment ripped off the truck if I have to get pulled out in reverse.

Experience is an excellent teacher. Eventually we’ll all have a better understanding of the vehicle and the situation and accessories that are appropriate to it. Until then we’re all wandering around with our eyes not fully opened.

I’ve clearly given up my self sufficiency. It happened after I bought my first electric car and realized the only thing I could maintain was the wiper fluid….. ??

I see your list has Air Compressor, however, I will be doing one of these:

On board air compressor kit
They look pretty nice. At the present moment, I don’t think I have a use case for one of those. I have large air compressors in the garage and at the hanger. Primarily, I was looking for something to fix a tire puncture or maybe inflated a bike tire when carrying the bike in the truck. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for that suggestion.
I haven’t purchased a spare tire, and will probably forgo doing so. For the present, I’ll try to make do with repairing a flat. As you’re probably already aware, carrying a spare will use a good amount of the truck bed space.
Were you seeing a case for use of the jack and torque wrench beyond charging a tire?
