I got my CT on 5/10 and it has been amazing so far. One thing that’s a little frustrating is touchy feely people, people come up to you when you’re parked to check it out, some end up touching it nicely and a bit aggressively, one guy literally pushed the door panel then said wow it really is as tough as they say.
I’m sure it’s inevitable if you’re not present when that happens but what about when you’re present, how do you tell people nicely that you don’t want their finger prints all over it?
Before anyone here gets mad at me, I know it’s a truck and it’s tough and all that but it’s the nicest thing I’ve ever bought for myself. I have a 65 cobra (yes, it’s a kit car) and a corvette, I’ve never seen people act that way.

Have had randos asking if they can see or sit inside. Have politely declined, especially if I’m in a rush or have family with me.

All the time. My home remodel contractor waited at my house and when I drove up, ask me to take a picture of him hugging my Cyberbeast to show it to his significant other ?
The other day, a guy followed me to my gym and started asking questions about my experience with the Cyberbeast :geek:

I let anyone who asks sit in it, tell ’em to kick it (like *THIS*), touch it, whatever. It’s fun, and it’s interesting, and I love the conversations! I understand the opposite stance as well. Been there many times with other vehicles. This thing is just so silly that I love sharing it with anyone who’s curious.

Some people have no boundaries. I had people sit in it while going through our checklist without even acknowledging us during delivery. You're not alone.

I don't mind having people get in, but I avoid giving them the driver's seat. With "auto gear selection" enabled someone could accidentally drive away hahahaha

I can only grasp they want to touch the stainless to see how it differs from a painted car. Otherwise, I have no response for why someone would feel the need to touch someone else's property.

I had a 1965 Cobra, and no one ever touched it, yet people do reach out and touch the CT. It’s like they want to know, is it real? Pretty strange!

I think that’s not an issue if you have pin to drive enabled but still I don’t think I’d let a random person in the car. You never know what could happen.

I have 3 kids so when their friends see the truck it has become a madhouse. Thankfully no significant damage but somehow the rear screen protector was partially peeled off over the weekend after back seat was mobbed by kids.

Nothing to stop them especially with your phone or backup card in the vehicle unless you enabled pin to drive.
