Probably 0%

Just a bunch of paid shills trying to bring Tesla down…… we all know Tesla quality is second to none, especially in a vehicle this expensive. It’s why Elon Musk says it’s the best Tesla ever produced and micron precision, whatever that means.
Thanks for such a productive comment to this discussion….

I have had my truck for about 2500miles in a few 300 round trips one 800mile trip… it’s been great! I was nervous but had a 3 hr drive home from Delivery day one in rain.
I had all the fear from people saying the wipers break and the car would just die on the side of the road, yet had a great trip with zero issues! It’s been awesome. That said, I’ve owned three Teslas and was used to all the tech. I think some people are overwhelmed by it the first time they get in a Tesla( and it seems for many this is their first Tesla). I can barely drive an ICE vehicle now. So the learning curve for me was still pretty smooth, but still Took some adjusting of my habits and reflexes. It’s a great truck. I’m tired of everyone asking me or telling me about all the problems I might have or if I’ve had them. The internet is doing a great job of making a negative opinion. Yet , again, I’m used to this as a Tesla owner over the past 5 years. People have so many misconceptions and the pseudo-recalls that are fixed with software updates really confuse folks. But whatever I have my awesome truck and people will be mystified by it for the next few years until more are in the road.

Thanks! This is so great to hear! I’m probably 1.5-2 years away from my number being called, but it is awesome to hear good experiences.. I absolutely love my teslas and can’t imagine driving anything else. I have never been a car guy, but i love driving my cars now

well you'd have to define "QC issues". I'd say that the number of people with very minor QC issues that can be addressed in a single service appointment is probably above 20%. The number of people who care/bother to address them is probably half of that or less.

But the number of people with genuine issues? HVbatt, coolant leak, compressor failure, low voltage harness.... it's probably less than .05%. by now it's likely even much lower than that. That was my guess back when ~4000 trucks had been made.
Your guess was that out of 4000 trucks, 2 had issues (your math)? Umm... no.

The ramp is going well. With the way Elon was talking in Nov and Dec, i am very happy with the 1000+ units per week that we are already seeing pumped out

As for vehicles with issues, if we are at roughly 12000 produced, then we're probably talking less than .005%, or 60 units. I am only talking major issues here.

If we are counting minor things like a tailgate needed a slight adjustment or things like this, then outside of the pedal recall, maybe 1-5% of vehicles have needed extra care I'd guess.
Again... what's up with the math around here? 0.005% = 0.00005. That would be 0.6 trucks out of 12000 with an issue, not 60....

I’m curious from this forum - I know on forums much of threads are about issues with the respective cars/products/whatever just because that is where they are discussed - but is this ramp going well? The numbers seem to say so, but the amount of issues seems high. I wasn’t around for production hell of the 3, but did the Y have this many issues? It was on the same platform as the 3, so I assume it was better. There is A LOT of new tech in the CT, and Elon said as much, but when do the experts on here expect to start seeing issues be few and far between..

I have a 2023 Y and 3, and have had nary a problem.. why I love Tesla so much!! But the issues on the CT seem like a lot, no?
Just curious on some of y’all’s thoughts
I’ve had mine for a little over a month and no issues

I don't think the edges need to be rolled, just filed to ensure there are no burrs. The 1.4mm panels shouldn't cut anything if grazed by skin if the edge is broken with a filing or sanding process.
I cut my wrist on my old jeep patriot. We are soft water bags.

Get some!!

first time wheezing the Cyber. We are testing a Baja Designs XL linkable light mounted on a new CYBERTRUCKco modular bed rack w/ roof top tent, side molle panels, lift rods (+.75 low, +1.25 Medium, + 2” high). Then Figure out how much more camping gear I can fit now going from Defender 110 to the Cyber. So many options for modification

Taking delivery this weekend, I'll let you know how it goes. I'm not really the type to care about smudges on stainless steel. It's surprised me that folks expect a paint coat level of glossy perfection on sheets of cold rolled steel, but that's a different discussion... I expect my delivery to go smoothly and there to be no issues, but if there are this forum will be the first to hear about it! Thanks for the thread
